About this product
Free Your Mind And Your Ass Will Follow is the second album from funk innovators Funkadelic. Arriving in 1970 mere months after their trailblazing debut, the record saw the band honing their songcraft, while still allowing plenty of space for mind-bending exploratory jams. The album's origin story famously involved a single marathon session on LSD. It marked the official introduction of legendary keyboardist Bernie Worrell, and would go on to chart at No. 92 on Billboard's Pop chart. As part of Org Music's Westbound Records reissue series, this edition restores the album's full sonic impact across multiple formats. All vinyl variants are all analog, mastered direct from tape to lathe by Dave Gardner at DSG Mastering, and come in gatefold jackets. The 2xLP version was mastered at 45 RPM, offering the highest fidelity listening experience, and comes in a case-wrapped jacket. Gardner and restoration specialist Catherine Vericolli archived and restored the original master tapes at 54 Sound Studios in Ferndale, Michigan, with assistance from in-house engineer Nick King. In addition to vinyl formats, the album can also be purchased in CD, cassette, and digital formats. Album Tracks 1. Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow (2026 Remastered) 2. Friday Night, August 14th (2026 Remastered) 3. Funky Dollar Bill (2026 Remastered) 4. I Wanna Know If It's Good to You? (2026 Remastered) 5. Some More (2026 Remastered) 6. Eulogy and Light (2026 Remastered)

Subject to it's own Pitchfork documentary, listed in numerous prestigious Best Albums of the 90s lists, and destined to be re-discovered by continuous generations, THE LONESOME CROWDED WEST stands as the defacto Northwest indie-rock record. Originally released in 1997, it not only helped shape the sound that came to be associated with the American Pacific Northwest, but across these sprawling, wide-open 15 songs, Modest House helped redefine what was possible for guitar music. As such, THE LONESOME CROWDED WEST has often been mimicked, but it's awesome open-hearted existentialism and manic ambition has rarely been matched. A modern classic that demands reappraisal. Album Tracks 1. Teeth Like God's Shoeshine 2. Heart Cooks Brain 3. Convienent Parking 4. Lounge 5. Jesus Christ Was An Only Child 6. Doin' the Cockroach 7. Cowboy Dan 8. Trailer Trash 9. Out of Gas 10. Long Distance Drunk 11. S*#t Luck 12. Truckers Atlas 13. Polar Opposites 14. Bankrupt on Selling 15. Styrofoam Boots/It's All Nice on Ice, Alright
