My first Garmin and so far very impressed with ease of use and especially battery life. My previous was an Apple watch. Although the phone features need iphone to be in bluetooth distance its not a drawback for me as I dont use watch to answer and text. Have use features mainly for fitness/health tracker and soon for hiking/maps and as a secondary diving computer. Seems extremely durable. The included band is very comfortable as well. Glad I bought this over the Fenix as the Tactix is a better look. I wish it had a better charging connector as a magnetic connector would be more useful.

I love my Garmin Tactix 8—it’s easily one of the best watches I’ve owned. The build quality is super rugged yet premium, and it handles everything from workouts to everyday use flawlessly. The GPS accuracy, battery life, and advanced features are top-tier. It’s pricey, but for what it offers, it’s absolutely worth it.

Love this watch a little pricey but worth every penny. Ive had the tactix 7 pro then switched too the epix pro gen 2 both really great watches,but wanted the capability answer calls and type messages on the watch its self, love all the functions this watch has,went on vacation logged in my flight details and was able too see the flight course on the watch that was pretty awsome but a definite go on this watch.

This is far better than buying a smartwatch from Apple, Samsung, or Google. I usually buy the phone and the watch that goes with the same brand, but this time I decided to take a chance and go with Garmin. It turned out to be the best smartwatch purchase I’ve made in all the years I’ve been using smartwatches—and I’ve owned plenty of them. I currently use it with both an iPhone and a Pixel, and it works great with both. There’s absolutely no need for me to return this purchase. I’m extremely happy with it.

I spent years with a Fenix 5 until it broke in a car crash. Switched to AW and have been there the last 4 years, most recently AWU1. Yes, it is expensive, I got it from BB because of the longer return period, thinking that it would probably go back. Well its NOT, I love the watch and metrics it produces. I was afraid that I would miss the connectivity due to my dependance within the Apple ecosystem but, I have found that I don't miss it at all. The biggest miss is the auto-unlock of apple devices but, its not a big deal. I recently misplaced my phone and initially though crap, I can't use my AW but, the Tactix does the same thing. The learning curve is more involved than the AW but once you master that, you're good. I chose this over the Fenix 8 due to specific functions it has such as the Applied Ballistics. Oh, best part battery life is averaging 3 weeks per charge. Garmin support is awesome, I couldn't figure a function out and they got it fixed right up. Glad I made the switch!

Too Expensive it should be like $300 less on price, the rest is as ut advertised and battery life us great.

This is THE watch. It is everything I imagined it would be. I definitely recommend watching YouTube for awhile to truly get a grasp of why this watch is so significant and so that you can appreciate the value it brings.

Great looking watch. I am happy with it so far. I love the flashlight feature. The battery life range depends on how you use it, but a good I get a good week and a half with the display always on option. I like the activities I am able to track, including the GPS. Speaker is clear during phone calls. I would have given it a five star for comfort, but the silicone band doesn't do well with my skin. I bought a nylon band from amazon. fits way better!

Great sport watch if you don’t really care about smart watch features. Software is slow & at this price it’s a joke but at least watch looks great.

Battery life far exceeds expectations. Easy to use, and truly addresses all critical needs as seen through the eyes of a Coast Guardsman.

It's the one for exactly extremely sport. Love it a lot and wear it everyday.

Great product, owned a previous version but recently I have been using an Apple Watch Ultra until now. Impressed with the functions and battery life.

Upgraded from a Tactix Delta and love it. some many new and better features. Great battery life! Definatly worth the upgrade.

So far this has been a great watch. I was worried that the battery life would not be sufficient. But it is.

This watch is a really nice piece. I have had multiple watches from garmin and never had an issue until now. I co tasted their support multiple times and they consistently pushed me off and told me do this or do that and when I voice my concerns they don’t truly care. Then they want me to send them another 1000 bucks to send me the replacement. What a joke their support has turned into. At this point I just want to return it and go back to the Fenix line.
