I like the power of this microwave oven, it takes only a minute or two to boil a cup of water for tea, and the reheat function does what I want it to do, which is heat up the leftovers without overcooking them. We bought the larger size so that a large plate of nachos would fit :-). It has user-friendly controls, including a sensible clock setting that doesn't require one to select whether it's AM or PM (if you don't know whether it's day or night, you have greater problems than this oven can help with).

This is a great countertop microwave for a large family. Good power, nice stainless steel exterior. And it didn't break the bank.

This is my second Microwave. the first lasted many years and I was so happy to be able to purchase another with the same specifications. It has great power as well as looks. Fully wrapped in Stainless steel and is a great compliment to my Kitchen.

So far this microwave has worked as expected. It is a large capacity and is powerful. Huge upgrade from what I had before and fits in our new kitchen very nicely.

Makes less noise than other microwave ovens I have owned. Control panel is simple and easy to use. Large enough to reheat a serving dish or casserole. Small enough to fit on my counter. I'm pleased with this purchase. I also bought the four year protection policy just in case.

This microwave is easy to use, powerful and fits well into the space provided . I find the control panel easy to use after looking at other similar size microwaves.

This is our second GE Microwave of the same size and model. The last one served us well for 12 years. They've made a few changes to the updated model that we're a little disappointed with. We used to be able to turn off the sound that tells you when the food is done, no longer. They also moved the location of many of the buttons. After 12 years, we could operate the other one in the dark. Now we have to learn the new configuration. But, it's a good microwave. We love the "express" feature (one push of a button) for the 1st 6 buttons/minutes. We use the reheat feature often, and also the 30 second button. And being able to control the percentage of power is always handy. It is the most convenient microwave around.

Recently moved into an apartment and the first item to go into my new place was this very budget conscious GE microwave oven. With an interior size of 1.8 ft it more than accommodates the frozen dinners and pizza slices that I frequently heat-up. It's $130 price tag and abundance of features have this microwave on par with those in the $250+ price range. Thus far I haven't had any issues and found its stainless steel finish easy to clean. I've enjoyed this microwave from day one and recommend to anyone seeking bang for their buck.

Good size. Decent power. Works well. A bit bulky in the back so it sits further from the wall than I would like but that's minor. Only real issue is that the wording for the buttons on the black background is too light. With minor glare from kitchen lighting or sunlight the words on the buttons are hard to see and required me to squat down until I had them memorized. All in all a decent appliance for the price.

the microwave was a step up from the on it was replacing my old one lasted 5 years hop this one will last longer. love the stainless steel.

This GE microwave replaces another similar GE microwave. Apparently you can only expect 6 or 7 year life spans from the new generation microwave ovens but then they are half the price of the original models. This microwave has a light that goes on whenever you open the door. Good for cleaning. It has the 30 second add button which allows you to add time during cooking. It is relatively quiet and is powerful. Plus it looks good.

We have a custom cabinet location so our dimensional requirements were a major considerations. We also wanted a brushed stainless finish and this microwave fit the bill perfectly. It also is more powerful than our old one and has some nice convenience features. Finally, the price point was very good. No complaints so far.

Seems solidly built. Very, intuitive control panel. Great price. Kind of plain looking but still attractive.

Barebones microwave that we got for our new house before we remodel. Works great and good size.

This microwave cooks quickly and evenly. It has all the basic features we want. A couple additional things would be nice, though. The timer can't be started and stopped mid cycle but it would be nice to be able to do that with the start-and-stop buttons. Also, sometimes the door doesn't shut all the way and the word "food" appears on the number pad. This issue is not documented anywhere. All we need to do is open and shut the door and everything works fine. It took us an hour of intense frustration to figure this out, though. We were at the point of disconnecting the microwave to return it to the store when we finally figured out that the door simply had to be open and shut to make things work again.

I like the power and it’s appearance. Perfect sizing.

Great microwave reasonable price good looking and works great

I've had this microwave for about a month. It works well, and the controls are intuitive. Good size for me as well, and it does not seem at all flimsy. This purchase was to replace another GE microwave which I liked, and had lasted nearly a decade. It remains to be discovered how long this one will last.

Purchased because this was the highest-rated microwave on the Sweethome/Wirecutter website. So far, so good.

This microwave is the perfect size, doesn't take up too much counter space, and is surprisingly powerful. It heats various food and beverages quickly and efficiently. And the all stainless steel exterior looks great with all the other appliances.
