Specs
Are there any lights and sounds when setting the cycle or when it finishes? And if so, can they be turned off? Thanks
Answered by GE AnswersHi there, and thanks for reaching out with this great question – we appreciate your interest in the dishwasher! This model does feature indicator lights and sounds – a ‘Clean’ light, ‘Sanitized’ light, end-of-cycle signal, etc. The sounds can be muted if you wish, by pressing the Dry Boost pad 5 times within 5 seconds. Generally, the lights will be on if the dishwasher is operating; we regret any inconvenience that may cause. There is also a Sabbath mode to put the dishwasher to ‘sleep’ so the control display, sounds and interior lights won’t respond to the door opening and closing, if necessary. Does this unit have leak detection
Answered by GE AnswersHi 1dirtydog - Model GDT665SMNES has Active Flood Protect. This feature consist of a sensor that recognizes and prevents potential overflow situations from occurring. This sensor is located under the filter inside the tub, replacing the mechanical float. This type of protection would be extremely beneficial on new construction sites if supply lines have not been properly flushed. Our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless offers a clear coat that allows the shine of the stainless to show through. Some manufacturers use a matte coating, resulting in a dull finish. Our clear coat finish is designed with durability in mind, and makes cleaning easy. Unlike Traditional Stainless, Fingerprint Resistant Stainless does not require the use of special stainless cleaners. The time delay light after I go thru all the 1 thru 12 Hours finally get a number 175 on the delay screen and I can not get rid of it. So I have been just watching it after I hit START and the number keeps getting lower as time goes so WHAT is the 175
Answered by RishabhVIt is time remaining for delayed start of the dishwasher. Means dishwasher will start in 175 minutes if it shows 175. If you want to remove delay start, press Start button for 5-10 seconds till delay start goes away
