got this ps5 on the july sale this year and purchased it for 399.59 us dollars which was significantly cheaper than over ps5s on the market i’ve had it for about a month and i can confidently say this is a product worth buying however i only experienced one issue with the ps5 is that it was overheating way to quickly my friend told that they overheat but this ps5 was overheating in the first 5 ish minutes of booting up the ps5 it was completely shutting down however i did some digging opening up the plates and found giant clumps of dust through the ps5 once i removed the ps5 was working pretty good and only overheating after playing for 5 plus hours which is normal so you will probably have to throughly clean it again even though geek squad assured it was thoroughly clean also the ps5 come in a giant cardboard box and the faceplate had a few marks and scratches on it but nothing to major

Ordered one of these ps5s and was excited to start it up and play. Taking the console out of the box, immediately you could tell the console was extremely dirty and smelled bad. There was sricky gunk all over the console itself, plus the controller bad brown build up all around the triggers, thumbsticks and in the seams, and the left thumbstick cover was ripper. Plugged in the console, it booted up, but the controller did not work, you can push the little PS button all day and it would do nothing, and then the console would green screen snd shut off. Got a 2nd one that seems to be working alright, but it didnt come with the stand. Do better bestbuy.

One of the things I really dislike about the PS5 is the controller; it isn't as durable as the controllers I have had. I have had the PS5 for a little over a month, and I've dropped it like twice, not much of a drop, and that's all it took for my controller to get stick drift, and that's another thing I dislike. Also, the PS5 is really sensitive to overheating, as if it needs a better fan; it seems like it's not powerful enough. Other than those two problems I've noticed and disliked, the PS5 is a great console, and I love the smoothness of gaming, and the movement and response time is on point and faster than I expected. Not to mention the new design of the PS5 controller; I didn't like it at first sight, but it turns out that it's very comfortable and I actually took a liking to it since it was similar to the Xbox controller, which I've never taken a liking to, but this design is more comfortable to the grip l

PS5 and controller had a couple scuff marks and signs of wear and tear (as expected from a refurbished product), but they perform really well. No pieces were missing, and set-up was a breeze.

I was skeptical at first buying this console with some of the reviews I read. However once I got it out of the box, I was impressed with the condition and performance of this PS5. I even opened it up to see how well it was cleaned. There were some slight scratches and blemishes, but that's to be expected with any previously owned console. The galactic purple color was an added bonus. I've seen in previous reviews some customers getting different designs and colors, so I'm overly excited about this purchase.

These devices are sold as refurbished which implies some amount of the following: 1. Inspection 2. Cleaning/Repairs 3. Testing The first unit I received had a non functional disc drive and was extremely dirty with scratched covers. When I went to return this unit for a replacement the employee didn’t even open the box to confirm the condition of the device. When I brought up the deep scratches and how dirty it was he said “well they don’t repaint them (lol), they are going to be dirty and have some scratches. They just test to make sure they work.” That is not refurbished and obviously they don’t even test them because the disc drive doesn’t work. After more hassle and the employee telling me he “doesn’t think I can order a refurbished device as a replacement” a replacement order was placed. One week later I picked up the replacement. It is similarly damaged and even more dirty than the first unit. Upon testing it was in fact fully functional. In summary, these devices are NOT refurbished and instead are open box or used products that are repackaged into generic cardboard boxes with minimal packing materials and sent to you dirty. Buyer beware.

Great purchase especially at $400! Works as it should.

The PS5 arrived quickly. All expected components were included and everything works perfectly.

It was packaged really well, and came with everything it said would come with it, its working great so far for the couple days I've had it.

I love it I always use to be a Xbox player but switching to PlayStation is a plus wow I love it

I got the ps5,the controller,controller charger,and the ps5 piwer cord but im missing the stand and the hdmi cable.I used my ps4s,but i dont know if that will damage my ps5 so i really want the ps5s hdmi cord.my set up dosent look good with the ps5 being vertical,and i dont want to damage the ps5.so im hoping yall see this and deliver my stand and the hdmi cord.

Sent with a defective controller, contacted store near me. And nada, told me I'm blank out of luck. And buy another controller. Its stuck in the up position.

My son love his game been playing it since it came to the house

As with all refurbished tech, I'm skeptical, but so far I've had no issues. It works like new. The controller is very responsive, and the console was nicely packaged.

Second refurbished device I buy and a problem again

Have it delivered to the store......Whoever is packing them is not putting bubble wrap on top of box. Fedex dropped and damaged mine....took back to store.

This is the First PS5 I've Ever Bought cause I'm Poor and Couldn't Afford the Rediculous Prices of $600-$1000 it Originally Cost for the PS5s in 2020-2023 and this is the Only PS5 i have Ever Seen for $500 and i was Barely Able to Afford this But i said Screw it cause i Needed one Asap to Play my New Copy of 007 First Light i Preordered 8 Months Ago. it was Well Worth the Purchase and it's Far Better then PS4 in a Lot of Ways but Not Completely Better. Certain Things Suck Like How the Messages are No Longer Separated Between Favorites and Non Favorites and it's Now 1 Big Jumbled Together Message Screen where i have to Scroll All the Way Down Through my Many Favorite Message Groups to Get to Non Favorites Wich is Very Annoying. The Report System is Different cause it's Faster and has Less Options then PS4 Did and it Doesn't Fade to a 2nd Screen Asking if I'm Sure i want to Block Who i Report Wich is what Gave Me the Option of Not Backing Out of Message Groups when i Submit Reports on PS4 so Now on Ps5 i have No Choice but to Report Once and then Back out and Scroll All the Way Back to the Same Message Group and All the Way Back to the Message i was at Before Scrolling Back Down to Find the Next Reportable Message Now Wich is Beyond Rediculous and Super Annoying. I also Hate How on Ps5 it No Longer Goes Straight to the Message Group a Report Happened in when you Click on the Message Deleted by Ps Safety Notification like PS4 Did and instead it Opens a Menu that Shows All your Message Groups Wich Never Tells you what Group had the Deleted Message. That is insanely B u l l s h i t Wich is Why i will Continue to Also Keep my PS4 on Me so i can Actually See that. the Menus Themself are Extremely Different Then PS4 and I'm Still Getting used to it. Other Then that it's Good and i Look Forward to Getting a PSVR 2 for the First Time to Play the New Ps5 VR Games I've Never been able to Play Yet. Even with All that B u l l s h i t it's Still Worth the Purchase just to be Able to Report People in Party Voice Chats and to be Able to Play my Preorder Disk Copy of 007 First Light.

I am really satisfied with the refurbished PS5 from Best Buy. It was delivered in pristine condition with proper packaging and ensured safe delivery. Apart from some scratches here and there, it was in a great condition aesthetically. The best thing is that the system works like a charm. The console is working fine and the bundled DualSense controller too. The performance has been top-notch and my experience using it has been amazing. If one is searching for a PS5 without spending their budget on the brand-new one, then I highly suggest this option. You can save a lot of money but still get a perfect performing console.

The play station is amazing and works perfectly the only reason the purchase is not 5 stars is that the controller they sent has insane stick drift on the left joystick that makes it even when I push the joystick forward I get stuck going in a circle and it’s always going to the left, but overall great purchase
