The Xbox is a very solid console, and feels like a complete upgrade to the Xbox One. The system is silent in gameplay and loads everything quickly, and a 120 gigabyte game download happened relatively quickly. I completed ninja gaiden 4 without a single drop in frame rate, crash, or any error that felt like the console’s. The controller is very comfortable, and the UI is very easy to navigate and responsive. It gives an experience comparable to a high end pc right on a tv in a bedroom/living room. I highly appreciate its backwards compatibility and it working with physical media. I want to give the product five stars, however I cannot as I am immensely disappointed in its shipping! I received it with the back plate knocked out of place, due to it having a singular sheet of bubble wrap and it feeling like it was hastily thrown in there at the end of a day without care. I understand that the console I ordered was pre-owned, and thus assumed the risk that some minor scuffs may be present. But this was not a minor scuff. Thankfully, my local repair place put the back plate back into its place and informed me a dinged up corner that was present upon opening it would be permanent but only cosmetic and not affect the console’s functionality in any way. Everything works great, however I feel that this packaging should not be the case when ordering from arguably the largest tech retailer in the U.S., especially considering they deliver often deliver much bigger, more delicate, and more expensive products! I am very impressed by the system, however I cannot say the same when it comes to the distinct lack of care when packaging it.

Refurbished works perfectly. Live the series x, graphics are great. Use a 120hz tv for the best gaming experience.

I ordered a refurbished Xbox console and that’s what I received but bottom of the barrel in terms of refurbished. It looked like it was dragged by a car and the controller looked like it was hit with a hammer. It did not come in the original box or have any papers. It was thrown in a cardboard box with a hole in it with minimal protection. And it was very dirty. For $75 less than a new one this is a scam.

Arrived in a large shipping box. Opened the box and the console had bubble wrap around it. The controller and cables were in a ziplock bag. The console has a large crack in the top. I will be returning. This is what the geek squad and Best Buy call refurbished? Save time and money, go to Game stop and buy one. I will never purchase anything refurbished by the Geek Squad. It is a shame that Best Buy would actually ship this junk to customers. .

[Employee of bestbuy] I have never encountered a more filthy uncared for console in my life. The console i recieved has residue and all over it and brown dirt clogging all vents that smelled like cigarette smoke and wet dog. The cotroller also came with debris stuck in all crevices with it and had a strong moldy / cheesey smell. Controller was also cracked in half and had the casing seperating. Console was functional, and thats why it gets 1 star.

This is a fantastic console, great selection of games. It runs great and is whisper quiet. I bought this to play the latest Indiana Jones game which is fabulous and the graphics WOW!

If you're still playing on an old Xbox One X/S and want to know if it's worth upgrading, it probably is. When I first booted up my Series X, my old library of games needed to "upgrade" instead of update and now a lot of them are marked with a "X|S" on the game tiles, as long as you keep an external backup drive it's pretty easy to keep all games readily available. But when I booted up Fallout 4, the difference was night and day. I used to see textures rendering in close distances or not load until I stood still in very developed settlements, now everything loads immediately with a proper 60 FPS boost without hitching and load screens are very quick. You'll find a lot of games have been enhanced for better resolution, framerates and load times that make it more friendly with current monitors and TVs. The way I see it, it's worth the upgrade to be able to play all your favorite old games enhanced AND play anything new coming down the pipeline.

Bought this as a second Series X. I have one at home and I "travel" with this one. It arrived packaged pretty well. Not the best. The outer box was way too big, but the actual unit was wrapped in padding. The cords came with it. Wrapped separately. No issues there. The controller was fine, minor signs of use. There was one major issue. One of the USB ports on the rear was completely broken. Broken to where you couldnt even attach something. The plug housing was bent and broken. I didnt return the box since I dont really plan to use the USB on the back. Never have. But it kinda shows how the thing was treated before purchase or the previous owner. As for use, it works great. No issues at all when using. I have used it almost every day, multiple games, for hours at a time without issue. Happy with it for sure. happy to get one that works great at a "deal" even though the price if these things keeps going way too high.

For a refurbished price the price was steep. 600 dollar when it could've easily been 400. The x box works perfectly ❤️ We love playing games on it

Xbox and controller came in working and clean condition and everything works great! However the wrong power cord was provided and in order to get the correct one all items had to be shipped back and received to then send out a new one. Customer service was great and I understand policy says that all items must be returned, but to put all that effort and money into returning and waiting another week for a new one just to get the right power cord is crazy, especially when it only cost 6 bucks. Geek squad needs to ensure all right parts especially if they are certified to refurbish these consoles. Great product and good to save money, just be prepared for missing or wrong parts

A great first experience with purchasing refurbished! Has been great ever since I picked it up, and the team who got it together were both friendly and timely! They even had it ready a day early which worked amazingly with my work schedule

So far so good! A few slight scuffs and marks on the console but internally it’s running exactly as expected and appears clean internally. Absolutely fantastic deal. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade from a Series S or last gen console at a reasonable price.

It came with nothing wrong internally or externally, practically brand new. Recommend,especially with console prices rising.

I’m very happy with the condition of the Xbox. So far it is working great. There was a small dent on one of the corners…..but no big deal to save $100.

Everything works at it should at a great price. Would highly recommend a refurbished x.

Although this was a refurbished system, it looks and performs like new.
