About this product
Gigi Masin's Sacred Bones debut record is a bold evolution of his ambient language. Where his early work drifted in slow, oceanic stillness, Movement pulses with rhythmic groove. Building on the trance-inducing momentum of Vahine and recent collaborations with Greg Foat and Moses Boyd, Masin pushes beyond solitary listening toward something physical, communal and alive. Current-like rhythms, melancholic motifs, and technoid pulses dissolve the boundary between body and the great beyond. Album Tracks 1. Bed on Mars 2. Lost 3. The Age of Sampling 4. Movement 5. Umi 6. Golden 7. Deception Dance 8. Azimuth (John Taylor) 9. Fifteen

Apollo Records present a masterpiece of ambience and beyond - 'Calypso' - the stunning new album by Venetian maestro Gigi Masin. The LP is inspired by the mythical Greek island of Ogygia and it's alleged real life counterpart Gavdos - also known unofficially as Calypso - a place of extreme beauty, which upon visiting had a profound effect on the musician.A1 'Calypso'A2 'Bellamore'A4 'Nefertiti'A4 'If'B1 'Anemone'B2 'Khalifa Golf Club'B3 'Mayo Slide'B4 'Susan Maybe'C1 'Amaranta'C2 'Coraline'C3 'How To Disappear In A Kiss'C4 'Cry Winds Or Flames'D1 'Enter Venus'D2 'On Demons And Diamonds' - with Ben VinceD3 'The Water Sibyl'D4 'Your Name Is My Infinite' Album Tracks 1. James Murphy, aka LCD Soundsystem, returns with his highly anticipated new album Sound of Silver on DFA Records. Murphy recorded Sound of Silver, the follow-up to the massively acclaimed eponymous debut, over the summer of 2006 at an upstate New York farm with the help of the odd periodic visitor from the city (live band members Nancy Whang, Pat Mahoney, and Tyler Pope). Between the silver foil-covered walls, nine tracks were crafted into what will surely be regarded as one of the pinnacle albums of 2007. Album Tracks 1. Get Innocuous! 2. Time to Get Away 3. North American Scum 4. Someone Great 5. All My Friends 6. Us V Them 7. Watch the Tapes 8. Sound of Silver 9. New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down
