At launch this game was not as great as it is now after all the updates and expansions there is a ton to do and it's a fun game especially if you enjoy hack and slash type games this game would be for you and now you can get the ultimate edition on sale quite often which it is definitely worth it with all the content and the beautiful graphics I would definitely pick it up

Great looking game heavy hits super shiny I love the look of this game my only complaint from not giving it a 5 star is no offline mode so you have to have a internet connection. While I don’t normally buy games like this due to that issue but it was on sale for 19.99 can’t go wrong.

This game has received unfair negative reviews, it is a fun game that shows off the Ps5 features nicely. Graphics are definitely next gen, though the story is a bit redundant

I have been waiting to play this but also waited longer because I wanted to play it on the PS5! So we got both at the same time amd this game did not disappoint. Graphics and play were awesome and seemless.

The Playstation 5 is a great console.This is just the game I was looking for at the store.I would say it can go on top of the list with it's action and graphics! Thanks

A true next generation experience...pairs really well with the next generation Sony controller (DUALSENSE)... pact with melee combat,action,fun,and will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end.. Spectacular launch title...a must have for gamers..

It’s ok. Never really got into the game so I can’t give an honest opinion.

I havent played this game much cause demon souls but its great filler to fill the gap when u get ticked n demon souls from imminent doom n stuff. But great potential

So I'm not sure why this game is getting such bad reviews because I am loving it. Does the gameplay feel a bit repetitive?...yes....is the story a bit lacking?...yes...but not all games need a Pulitzer prize winning story or Academy award winning acting. Don't get me wrong I love a good story but this is a simple but fun hack and slash looter at its core. First off the graphics are fantastic as you can see by the pictures. I am playing on performance mode and the graphics don't suffer one bit. Gameplay seems to be locked as 60 fps and is smooth as silk with no hiccups, stuttering or glitching of any kinds that I have noticed as of yet. I think the repetitiveness comes from the fact that there are only three zones...Air, Earth and Water that you play in so because you see the same areas over and over it can feel more repetitive than it actually is. I like the the Augment system which gives you yet another way to upgrade and customize your character. Also I noticed watching gameplay vids before purchase that alot of people seem to be missing on the loot hidden in the vases, etc around the world. While not all of them have loot many do and there are many hidden around off the beaten path so be sure to explore and not just keep on the main pathways. This game was a launch day purchase for me but I held off because of all the negative reviews. To be honest if I paid the full price of 70.00 I still would feel the same about the game, its that good. The fact that I got is on sale for 50.00 is icing on the cake. Wish I had actually bought the Deluxe version so I would have the first DLC pack but will definitely buy that when it comes out.

The game is fun to play and looks fantastic. There will be plenty of loot and a lot of button smashing on the journey if that is what you like. The controls can be choppy and the story line is average at best. I enjoyed my playthrough of the game but was glad I got it on sale.

Ok so I have about 6 hours into the game now and it is starting to get repetitive but what game doesn’t really. The story is blah but I do like the combat. Playing on hard makes the game a little more challenging it’s still not really hard. Overall I enjoy it and it looks really good. HDR really pops. Wait for a very good sale. $40 is not bad but $25 would be better.

Gorgeous game that I knew I'd be really disappointed at $70 price tag but at $39.99 that made it a pretty easy decision. Mechanics are phenomenal and plays pretty flawlessly throughout. As far as launch titles go this one is amazing. But be sure you like hack and slash 3rd person gaming, as I do, before you buy. It plays like Final Fantasy 7 remake without the multiple characters to manage while fighting. In the comparison I mean from area to area new enemies to fight turn after turn. It does get a bit monotonous but these games have always been that way for me.

Unfortunately this game didn't live up to expectations. It looks really pretty, but has so many glitches and dropped frames that take you out of the games atmosphere. Combat is tight and feels good. It's supposed to be a looter/slasher. But I've never played a looter that just kept giving me the same weapons over and over.

Overall Godfall is a great game!, I feel as if it will eventually evolve even more! They are still working out bugs! So expect a glitch once in a blue moon, Besides that enjoy every moment of bashing, hacking, and slashing enemies, LEARN your combos well because they look Bada$$ when you perform them right, it gets the adrenaline pumping! don't play this on easy. Don't play this on easy. I repeat do not play this game on easy.

One of the few options so far for the PS5, it is not a bad game, I like it but it does not have an interesting story and the gameplay is kind of repetitive. Visuals are excellent as expected for the new consoles, but it is not worthy the price tag. I would compare it to warframe, but warframe is free...

Its a fun game but too repetitive. Good graphics. Beat it and just not interested going back again tomdo the extensions.

Easy to play hack and slash. The visuals are great and the loading is almost nothing. I would not recommend this game for full price. Game gets repetitive early on. The game provides zero challenge, if you die at a boss or any enemy, you respawn near by and the enemy/boss retain the depleted health bar they had when you died, you literally could Leroy Jenkins every fight. There are neat armor sets you can unlock but its all just a big grind fest. All in all, I enjoyed playing it but I wish I hadn't bought it at full price. Wait until its free on ps plus or get a great deal.

This game just looks, sounds, and feels next gen. Even in performance mode I can barely tell the resolution dropped in order to get 60fps unless I move inches from the tv. That said, the fighting can get a bit frustrating since there’s no way to cancel an animation, so if an attack is coming while swinging your sword you can’t just stop and equip your shield. Also, the game tends to stutter and freeze during battles, breaking the immersion and flow. The story seems pretty generic, but you’re playing this for the hack-n-slash, visuals, and looting. I don’t see any replay value, but it’s fun while it lasts.

Looks beautiful on playstation 5.. combat is kinda fun.. Gear system is lackluster and glitches can get frustrating.. Story is... well there is, that is all.
