I own several drones, and I own several GoPro cameras. I thought putting them together would be perfect. So I got the 2017 (re-release) Karma. Man was I wrong. The Hero 6 is awsome, and the footage is amazing. The drone, however, is unstable, unreliable, and honestly dangerous. It wanders all over the place. You cannot trust the GPS to actually lock, and even when it does it loses signal in flight and begins to wander away. The controller (while awsome in design) has a VERY short reliable range. Get more than a few hundred feet away, and a hundred or so feet up (which is minimal expectation on a cheap toy drone) and it looses signal. Which is really bad because with no obstacle avoidance sensors it will most certainly hit something on the default “return home” flight. I found myself running around trying to get signal to stop it from crashing into trees. I honestly don’t feel comfortable flying the Karma over people or water. You just can’t trust what it is going to do. Also, forget about hovering. It wanders both vertical and horizontal when you are trying to get a shot. I love GoPro, but they should stick to making awsome cameras. As for the drones I will stick with DJI (insert any of their models here). Sorry GoPro, I will buy your next one too. Hopefully it will be a good one.

This drone is amazing. It has a ton of great automatic features, and other features. They're thought of just about everything with this drone. You also save a great deal of money if you conciser the value in this drone vs other drones. Other drones can cost just as much, but if you get the GoPro camera bundle, now you're getting a camera and a drone and a detachable image stabilizer all at discounted prices. Plus if you shop with the BestBuy rewards card, you can get about $60+ back in rewards (depending on your cost) on the purchase if you do 5% back, which I combined with a 10% coupon that I received within that week for an additional battery at just $30. You can't go wrong with this drone. SUMMARY: -Great features/functionality -Great looks -Camera and detachable stabilizer -Great value

I read a lot of negative reviews and decided to give it a shot anyway. Pleased with the purchase. The drone is easy to fly. The hero six takes amazing video and is easily and quickly transferred right to my phone for editing. The gimble is also a great feature, pop the camera out of the drone, like no other drones offers and I can take amazing smooth hand held video. I have run into some issues when flying but only camera connection issues but the drone returns to home when this happens. I have about 20 flight so far some in 10 degree weather and the drone still does it's job.

Not only do you get the newest GoPro in the Hero 6 which cost $300-$400 but you also get the Karma drone which cost a few hundred, the Karma Grip which cost $300, and the Karma drone backpack which is another $100 or more. Certainly a deal and money saver, while at the same time you get some of the best gear made. Love the drone itself and it's auto fly modes to help get shots. Especially for rookies like me that need some help. The GoPro hero 6 is well, amazing. Just started using the Grip but it is pretty amazing as well. All in all one heck of a deal!

The ultimate drone is finally here. This drone is AMAZING. It’s controller is out of this world. Go pro made this product perfect. The backpack is so light weight and amazing. Perfect for when your hiking or traveling outdoors and your looking for the perfect shot. If your into cinematography like my self, buy an extra battery and bring it with you. The flight time is approx. 20 minutes depending on your flight conditions. The drone will let you know where you must have permission to fly, and where you can’t fly at all. You can practice flying it in the flight simulator on the controller. It’s absolutely amazing! I’ve camptured some beautiful shots in my hometown and I can’t wait to expand my horizons and capture more beautiful sunsets! My brother is taking his to Thailand this week and using it for a cinematography project in south east Asia! Treat your self to a wonderful drone and go out and capture stuff! For the price it’s an AMAZING bundle. Especially cause you get the newest GoPro!!!!

This is my first drone, I've read a fill online reviews, and even knowing the the battery time is less than most competitors, I'm still satisfied with Karma, the GoPro 6 camera itself beats any other. Also bought an extra battery and a fill other accessories.

I have been wanting a drone for a few years now, but couldn't justify the cost. I recently got a new motorcycle, and was looking at getting a GoPro to start shooting videos (and evidence if needed) while riding. The Karma was the perfect solution. I can pop the camera off and put it on my helmet, carrying the Karma with me on the backpack it all comes in if I want to go do some drone shooting. Definitely need the insurance unless you're familiar with drones. I need more practice for sure! lol

As far as QuadCoptor Drones go, you cannot beat the GoProKarma... It is so easy & simple to setup... Just Charge it up first, and connect it (the controller) to your WiFi so as to DL/Install the latest Updates, BEFORE your first flight... And you'll be good to go... Easy & Simple... And Phenomenal!!

Our son bought this for us for Christmas. It's our first drone and we use it all the time. We really like that the GoPro can be used separately with the karma grip, which comes in handy. The GoPro itself takes great videos and photos. We recently took it on our trip to Exuma, the photos are amazing! My son is a custom home builder and he uses the drone to take aerial photos of the progress of his homes.

As a beginner, having the onboard screen really helped in learning to fly, and control the aircraft. The GoPro Karma 6 was not only a pleasure to operate, but also produces magnificent video and photographs while flying. I would recommend this product to either an expert or beginner.

I got it for the Camera, has 4K and 120,240 FPS and the package deal has a stablity grip to keep everything from being shaky, great product, the drone is good, and the GoPro Care insures any damage and faulty so that gives you peace of mind about your purchase

Amazing capability so easy to control. I would recommend this drone to anyone wanting to fly. And if your a go pro fan like me then it’s a win win

I was flying it for the 4th time and 5 minutes in it just fell out of the sky. I did my preflight checks and the battery was properly installed. It was hovering about 90 feet up and just died. Everything but the go pro and battery was broken. Go pro support wasn't bad, but I have now been waiting for my replacement unit for 9 days now with no update from GoPro. I will try to update the review once I get the replacement. Word of warning if you buy it be careful. Do no fly over people or property.

I have plenty of glitches but GoPro has corrected all of them so far. And when it's working man does this thing run well. That's all I definitely would say go get yourself one.

This is one of the most versatile drones ever! I have 2 other drones made by DJI and they are nice, but I really like the versatility of the Karma. It is one of the best deals on the market especially when it comes with a extra battery and props...

It would have been a 5 star rating if this expensive drone had auto avoidance technology. Otherwise very capable and nimble and it holds its position very well via GPS.

I love this product! I always travel a lot and when I got it, everything I needed came with it

... GoPro removed the drone from the production line ... many mistakes and always breaking ... very sad with this purchase ... a pity not having the means to return

Bought the Karma Drone combo deal with the GoPro Hero 6 - I am super happy with my purchase! It is everything I expected plus some! I love the backpack, but expect to bring an additional bag to carry extras! I bought this because I wanted a Hero 6... I wanted a Gimbal.... and I wanted a drone! This is the best of all 3 worlds! GoPro customer service is less than satisfactory, but their products are TOP NOTCH! I am not rating a product based on their customer service. I give their customer service a 3. Off shore call centers, very bad wait times. But they resolve the problems satisfactorily. The GoPro Hero 6 takes GREAT 4k 60FPS wide angle videos. If you want to do time lapses save the money and buy the Hero 5. Same Quality it just can't do the 4k at 60fps. If you want just a drone get something else... I recommend the Mavic. I WANTED Camera, Gimbal, & Drone. I bought mine on Black Friday and saved $200. HUGE BONUS! Unfortunately, my first flight was a disaster. I failed to properly secure one of the blades. They include 2 extra in kit and that left me one short. A Local Best Buy had some extra's. A Few hours later I had my first flight... but I failed to hit record. Newbie failure. This will not do everything other drones will do. This is NOT safe to fly inside or close to people. IT TAKES AMAZING VIDEOS! Not perfect... but it has the extra's that make up for it. Side note. I bought the GoPro Care. Keep in mind when purchasing... GoPro wants EVERY DETAIL when replacing a broken prop. There’s no sensors on here cost to much to not have sensors the cheap ones even have sensors
