A: No, neither the drone or stabilizer are waterproof. You would have a bad day if you landed in the water.
Q: What is general flight distance for the karma?
A: Not a problem. FAA rules are that it must be visible to you. It is so small that it's hard to see very high or very far. Maybe 200 yards horizontal and 300 feet vertical (depending on sky conditions) If you walk along with it then it's as far as you can walk in 17 minutes, (allow 3 minutes for landing before battery dies) which would be maybe a mile.

A: I have 2 batteries that last me to flight each one for 16 min.
