Gotcha! features a pre Top Gun and ER actor Anthony Edwards as a college freshman who role-plays hunting other students on campus with paintball guns. When he gets the opportunity to travel to Europe with a friend and possibly lose his virginity, he goes. Soon he's tangled up with an older woman who uses him as an unwitting courier to get a role of film out of east Berlin. He now plays the Gotcha game for real as foreign operatives (and the FBI too!) want what he now has. Thanks to Kino Lorber for the excellent 1.85 transfer. Audio is mono 2.0 but it's certainly better than the old laserdisc version all around.

I am so happy this has finally been made available..and on blu ray no less. This was one of my favorites...Anthony Edwards and Linda Fiorentino star in this spy comedy/thriller. Edwards plays a young collage student who goes to Europe on break and meets Fioentino. He gets wrapped up in spy business and becomes hunted by Russians determined to recover some film. Highly recommend.

Great movie from the 80’s, with a very catchy theme song. They don’t make them like this anymore. Great plot with humor, action and romance. Not much in the way of extras, but still a worthy buy.

I enjoyed this film in the 80s when i saw it in the theater and revisiting it again decades later did not disappoint. Filled with humor and suspense, it's still a blast.

Not a typical 80's movie. Most 80s movies were good then. Cheesy now. Nahh. This was a good one even now

Gotcha, what can be said other than great 80's cheese and of course, Linda fiorentino. the movie's story may not hold up well for those not born in the 80's or ealier, but is definitely a cult classic. It is worth a watch. The film quality holds up well all thing considered. Sit down, turn your brain off and enjoy.

I have to admit that I'm surprised 'Gotcha!' got a dvd release. It's a cheesy campy movie, but I sure liked watching this one when I was a kid, and here it is in widescreen!
