I purchased this boombox in order to have some music in my home gym and I didn't want to spend a great deal of money as I already had an expensive Sony Stereo system as well a Pioneer Elite Home theater system in my home . Although it is a compact unit and the speakers are rather small the CD player does reproduce decent sound quality. The A/C power cord is removable and plugs into the back which is a nice feature. Its light weight and the handle, which folds flat, makes it very easy to carry. The cassette tape door also opens and closes smoothly. I would have given the unit an overall FOUR star rating if it had not been for the fact that the push buttons for the various functions although marked are not high lighted in white which makes it very difficult to determine the function of each button even while wearing eye glasses.

My husband and I wanted a Cassette player and were delighted to find this GPX Boombox. We were sure that cassette players were no longer made! This is perfect, and at a reasonable price. Delivery was speedy. The combination of versatile features -- CD and Cassette player and AM/FM Radio -- means we can listen to different sources of music and news. The Boombox is lightweight and the handle makes moving it from room to room very easy. The choice of power source also is convenient. I used glow-in-the-dark tape and a marker to label the control buttons. All in all, a great purchase.

This product plays CDs, cassettes and has a radio. It reminds me of an older type of boombox that has all of those capabilities. It is a bit hard to read the buttons, but once you know where they are, that works.

I recently purchased the GPX Bom Box so I could play my old Pink Floyd Cassettes. This did the trick for me. I don't listen to a radio at home.

I needed a small, lightweight radio/cassette/cd player as a gift. It had to be easy to operate. This product covered all those bases. The sound is decent all things considered.

Great value for the money. Radio reception is good both AM and FM. Some radios lose reception at night, but not this one. Has a cassette player and a CD player, in addition to radio. Since it is portable you can take it anywhere with ease. Comes in two versions. One is AC and batteries, the other is Wi-Fi. If you won't be taking it outside, Wi-Fi is great where available.

2 negatives: no way to tell what radio frequency is dialed in....no indicator. Hit or miss. And really no significant bass on any audio source, i.e. CD, tape or radio. Not really a surprise there...low quality speakers. But the unit does allow us to enjoy (such as it is) our old cassettes. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of reasonably-priced alternatives.

Great price, good sound, easy to operate and very lightweight.

I wanted a unit to play inside my car since brand new 2021 did NOT come with either a CD or a cassette tape player!!! Will run this off of 12 battery into 120AC inverter and simply plug into inverter. I tried it already and works perfectly!! And a very compact size for what it is and still makes acceptable sound quality!!! Case closed LOVE IT!!!

Good enough for my needs for the price. Looks nice, sounds ok. Nothing like a unit that's several thousand dollars but good. Idc skip a bit but it may be age of them. The buttons are a bit confusing, like the CD buttons should be where the tape buttons are. I have to keep the instructions on unit. The buttons are black & I cannot see which is which unless I pick it up. I'm pleased with my purchase & with Best Buy.

I bought this as a gift for my mom. I honestly didn't know if cassette players were still being made but I knew if someone had them Bestbuy would. My mom has cases of old cassettes shes been dying to listen to and now she can. She's very happy with it so that earns 5 stars from me.

Small compact size. Everything works well and simple to use only there’s no way to tell where you are on the radio due to small size. Great price!

Just what I was looking for. Small, compact, battery option, cassette player/recorder. AM/FM is nice but not needed by me. I was also pleased that the CD can record as well as play.

I bought this because of the cassette/CD combo player and the price. Would have given it 5 stars but have not had it long enough to give an excellent review. But, so far so good.

All right now works good. Like the size of it doesn't take up space and portable.

It is hard to find CD/ cassette Boombox. This one is just what I needed. It is compact, but has good volume.

Has a real antenna , not a piece of wire like the last one we had. Only thing is there is no display of channels when you turn dial to tune one in.

This was a gift for my daughter, so I never tried it out. But the ordering was easy & delivery was quick h i was kept informed on the delivery progress.

My husband bought this to play his Christmas music on. It’s a nice little unit. Nothing fancy about it. Nothing like his Bose, but can carry it around to different rooms easily. Not bad for the price.
