This is an excellent release for any fan of Halloween franchise. The 4 visuals and amazing audio really add new life to this 1978 release by shout factory. A must own!

We finally get the solo deluxe treatment of HALLOWEEN (1978), starring the young Jamie Lee Curtis and a host of young talent. Directed by John Carpenter, (The Thing, Christine, Assault on Precinct 13), this first original film on the Halloween franchise is now a must to own 4K deluxe package. Not only do we get a nicely done outer clamshell that is not flimsy, we get the reversable insert for the original movie artwork as well. Everything looks good and the motion menus are outstanding with easy selections. All extras have been brought over for this and the other releases individually. The new 2021 4K version is stunning with Dolby Atmos 7.1, if you choose. There is plenty of audio commentary also. All extras are on the 2 Blu-rays, no more analog DVDs. **** The printing on the back of outer box and 4K insert sleeve has some misprinted information on what is on each Blu-ray for the Extras. The Extras are all there on the discs, it's the printing that is the error. Whoever did the final Quality control before it went to print did a lousy job. ****

This was in-store with the rigid hard case I grabbed it for cheap. The movie is a classic.

This is the best this film has ever looked! The 4k looks incredible, the color grading is amazing and definitely worth the pickup!! Scream Factory has finally done justice to a film that has a zealous fanbase. Halloween hasn’t appeared this great in a very, very long time. It looks and sounds phenomenal, I really didn’t care for the new Atmos mix, and I absolutely love the Mono Mix. Whether or not it’s the original mono mix, its sound is fairly close to the original soundtrack that hasn’t been heard since those awful days of LaserDiscs. It’s more likely the last time Halloween will be available on disc, so go enjoy it.

Although I bought the 4K SteelBook last year, I had to have this. The color grading looks fantastic and there is more detail on this one. Definitely worth picking this up.

The video is native 4K, HEVC averaged low 70’s in Mbps. Great details, color and looks better than any version I’ve seen before. The ATMOS audio is okay. Audio is about 4.3 Mbps. Con. Vocals come from the rears and it’s distracting to me. It’s packaged with a nice slip cover. Worth it overall.

The 4K disc of the movie Halloween is like a mind-blowing trip to the '70s, man. The picture quality is so sharp, it's like Michael Myers is coming right at you with that iconic mask. And let me tell you, the sound design is killer, dude. The suspenseful music and chilling sound effects will have you on the edge of your seat. So grab your favorite horror flick buddy, turn off the lights, and prepare to scream your lungs out with Halloween in 4K.

Amazing 4k blu ray. I wish best buy still sold them because they don’t carry 4k blu ray at all anymore. I rarely go to the store now because of that. It seemed like they sold well in New Hampshire and had alot of great conversions with other customers in the 4k blu ray section. This particular blu ray is an excellent transfer and very enjoyable! 5 star

Classic Halloween has never looked as good. The picture and audio are great. No real extras on the 4k, but if you are looking for the best this movie has looked, it is worth the investment. It's not like you aren't going to watch this one every Halloween season, you might as well have the best looking one.

Nothing beats the classics! I love that my favorite horror movie was finally available in a steel book so of course I had to get it.

Always love purchasing from Best Buy. My first stop for electronics needs, and they usually have a good Blu-Ray/DVD selection. Was glad they had this 4K Blu-Ray disc of Halloween to replace my old DVD that no longer works.

Halloween on 4K ultra HD will be the preferred method of viewing this 1978 horror/slasher masterpiece from John Carpenter. The new transfer and color grading only enhance the chilling experience and atmosphere.

I was ecstatic when this was announced as a 4K release. Jamie Lee Curtis and the cast are great. The story is still spine-tingling every time. A cult classic that never goes out of style.

Bought this on Black Friday. Love the Dolby Vision and original audio tracks, and I like how there are reversable cover arts with the original poster.
