This was not my first choice but since I had ordered the other one... Paid for it... Weeks go by and they're still not sure if they have it in stock even though they let me pay for it. Don't normally have an issue with Best buy but this was my first thing to complain about. Ended up getting this one instead. I did not ask for a discount however I feel I should have received one for the major inconvenience because I ordered a electric tea kettle because my other one was dying and I needed the new one to replace it before the other one was dead. That didn't happen. But onto the product. The product is great. It does have a feature where it will turn back on and warm back up to the correct temperature that you had it set to if you don't get to it right away. It has a beeping feature to let you know that it's done. It does not keep the contents hot for very long. Not by any means even close to the ones that are solid metal. I prefer a solid metal in glass over a plastic, it is a metal interior though. Highly recommend these ones with the digital settings. But still many people are unaware that you need different temperatures for different items. Many people also don't realize that you burn coffee if you bring it to boiling. I think this will help those many people. Haha

I recently purchased the Hamilton Beach Cool-Touch Digital 1.7 Liter Kettle in black, and I must say, it has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen appliances. This kettle combines style, convenience, and safety in one sleek package.The digital display and temperature control settings are intuitive and user-friendly. I can easily set the desired temperature, allowing me to prepare different types of beverages at the perfect temperature.

Plain old kettle? NO WAY! there is nothing plain & nothing old here!! It has a stainless steel interior, shielded from the outer jacket: keeps it hot and no more ouch! Touched to kettle! It is super quick to boil: and it will switch off at precede temperature you set with the 'mode' button. Several different temperatures - for green tee, black tea & so on - and !Sweet! it actually will keep the water at the preset boil temperature for about 30 minutes until you are ready to use it: once used, it switches itself off. Best of all, large green letters on the side tell you exactly what is the pot temperature is inside, even after being switched off.

Black beauty. right temperature for your favorite tea. My 10 year old daughter enjoys using it so you know it's easy to understand and it adds class to your kitchen. heats water quickly too.

Grabbed this when it was on sale after my previous kettle went up in a slight amount of flames (don't ask lol.) I love the temperature adjustment features and the sleek look to this.

This kettle is fast and intuitive. There is one button to change the temperature preset and another to start heating. Automatic shutoff and keep warm modes work well. This unit also monitors water temperature without heating as long as it has been recently interacted with and remains connected to power.

When I got a thermomix i got rid of most small kitchen applicances but kept this kettle because it can heat a large amount of water about 2 minutes faster than the thermomix. The only small complaint I have is that the surface is a bit sensitive to certain cleaning products. Especially the surface where the digital display is. I made the mistake of using a degreasing cleaning product that was used on other kitchen appliances and it removed some of the shine. But that was my fault.

Great product with digital display. We can select the temperature level. It maintains the temperature for 3-4 minutes.

This product will meet your needs at any temperature. Not only do I use it for ramen noodles or tea, coffee, oatmeal. I use it to clean or soak things that need hot water. I use it to mix my flour for baking. I love my purchase and it’s very quick and easy to set up and clean and operate. It heats up so quickly.

Boil super fast hot water for your coffee drip, french press or tea bag. Or when you need hot water. I like the different mode for black tea, matcha, etc.

I have used this for almost 2 months. It heats up within minutes. Easy to clean, the only issue is that you do need to keep cleaning out the residual from melted platic that secure the temperature gauge. Advice to pull out all the leftover hot water and not leave it sitting.

It is very quick for getting boiled water and it looks cool in outer surface and steal body
