I did like this movie and will buy the sequels because i am a horror fan, especially the slasher style movies. I grew up with Friday the 13th and knowing that the actor who plays Hatchet is actually F13th's very own Kane Hodder who played Jason in 7, 8, 9, and X made this a must buy for me. However its still not a 5 star movie, its good, killing, death, scariness. But i feel something else is missing, but i also feel maybe the sequels will answer the holes i am thinking. All in all good fun!

With Hatchet it is an interesting story line, but unfortunately the acting is not the greatest. It is a good movie to watch and there are some twist and turns that keep you thinking.

Over the top fresh campy horror movie that is gory and entertaining dark humor if a horror fan this is a must buy if you like B movie's kinda similar to throwback toxic avenger days Victor Crowley is kinda similar to Jason meets pumpkin head with cameos from classic horror icons from the past.

I ordered this dvd for my friend as he dose not have a computer. He said, "I like horror films that keep me on the edge of my seat". He liked it very much. I personally don't like horror films, they give me knight mares. I guess its as they say, "to each his Owen".

The first of the Hatchet trilogy, the story is fun and Victor Crowley is scary but not in a Friday the 13th kind of scary. He's more of a funny scary. Adam Green makes a cameo on Bourbon Street.

I personally liked the movie, it does have a pretty good cast in it. The film does have a lot of gore to it, which wasn't bad. I would recommend it if you you like slasher gore movies.

This is a throw back to old school 80's blood and guts and I LOVE it. It's nice to see Kane Hodder (Jason 7, 8, 9 and X) play another character. It's a fun movie with a back story. :)

Hatchet is funny, bloody, gory, suspenseful and delightfully over the top. The movie doesn't waste any time getting started and once it does the film never slows down or gets boring
