John Harrington (Stephen Forsyth) and his wife, Mildred (Laura Betti), run an exclusive salon devoted to wedding apparel for women. Although he seems a harmless fashion designer, John is actually a serial killer, doing in his young customers on their wedding nights. With each murder, John is able to see a bit more of the long-repressed memory of his mother's death. When he murders his wife, she returns to haunt him.
When Professor Cantrell, a specialist in the occult, embarrasses one of his students, he must pay the price. Mason Harrue, the slighted student, recruits his friends to go on a killing rampage to destroy Professor Cantrell and his family. But, Cantrell doesn't die, and he summons a demon to avenge the deaths of his family members. The murdering students attempt to flee, and for some strange reason we never actually see a meatcleaver.
