About This Item

The HAWAII FIVE-O team faces some of their biggest challenges yet as they fight to keep paradise safe from the most dangerous criminals on the islands. This season, Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Detective Danny 'Danno' Williams (Scott Caan) pursue an expert hacker and are taken hostage by an escaped convict who convinces them of his innocence while the danger of Kono's (Grace Park) relationship with the son of a Yakuza boss escalates. Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) is investigated by Internal Affairs about his ties to the head of a drug cartel, and Catherine (Michelle Borth) gains a spot on the team but must repay a debt of honor in Afghanistan. Joining the team this season is Captain Lou Grover (Chi McBride), who recently moved his family from Chicago to head the SWAT unit on the island. It's high-octane action that never let's up through 22 thrilling episodes that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

CBS has really improved the extras this time!
The fourth season of the rebooted Hawaii Five-O really hits its stride with character development, well-paced stories, and (thankfully) a minimizing of the soap opera-like, drawn-out, here-we-go-again McGarrett family drama. Evil arch-nemesis WoFat is fun to watch, but it was a relief to make him go away for most of the season. Plus, the included extras this time really surprised me because they were not simple snippets which looked like last minute add-ons. They were informative, fun, well-produced, and quite thorough in their content.

great character interaction
this can be a really fun show to watch - just remember to park some of your logic neurons before starting to enjoy. The interaction between the cast members is what I watch for not the accuracy or logic of the plots - they act like siblings not co-workers and that's the fun part

Amazing Show
The new Hawaii-0 is awesome. This season is no different. The story lines are interesting, the scenery is beautiful, and Alex O'loughlin is great to look at. The only thing that would make me happier, is if season 4 would come out on Blu-ray.
