Great scooter, I've been using it for almost a year now and it hasn't given me any issues. The battery life is good and it rides pretty fast on sport mode. The suspension and the puffy seat makes it very comfortable to ride. My 76 year old dad loves it. He uses it to go along bike rides with family and grandkids. Will i buy it again? Yes, I'm actually buying another one for my dad.

very sturdy and comfortable ride I really enjoyed how fast it can go and how easy it is to use. also, the bill can be a little difficult once you get past that it’s very great to have!

The instructions lack critical details as well as the images along with them. There's a fair bit of assembly required and many adjustments after the fact. While this wouldn't normally be a problem, the instructions are woefully lax and vague for both. Their video instructions on YouTube don't include this model, despite the included instructions stating this was an option. And before you think, "what an idiot, can't even follow instructions with pictures, let me give an example: Users are required to install the front axel and wheel. The washers for the FRONT AXEL, including 2 that are meant to lock into place with special notches, were put onto the axel incorrectly, seemingly randomly. This whole front axel assembly includes 4 washers, 2 different sized spacers, 2 fasteners, and the axel itself. There are no images or descriptions of what this axel assembly is meant to have on it or what order they should be in; not even a picture. If I hadn't noticed or was none the wiser, I could've seriously injured myself or whoever was unfortunate enough to be riding while the FRONT AXEL failed! I stress this so much because another review online I had seen mentioned their front axel had bent. This was likely from the above packaging error along with hitting a rough transition too fast. Another smaller example is the seat locking clamp; it doesn't clearly show or describe where this should be located on the base/shaft. Because of this, I had just assumed it was in the right spot and started tightening it. I felt like it had taken a lof of tightening to get it to stay, but I was finally able to sit on the seat fully. A couple rides later, I wanted to make an adjustment, but after loosening the clamp, the seat didn't budge. Even with all my weight on it, it wasn't moving. Turns out, the clamp wasn't down low enough (which isn't described or clearly shown), so it crimped the metal of the base into the shaft of the seat. It was able to be freed with a mallet, which left a nice dusting of steel shavings all over the rubber foot pad after it budged. To loosen up the bite of the base, I took the seat up to the very edge of the base and then gently used it to "pry" in circular motions. No major damage was done, but it was a substantial annoyance that others may not be prepared for, or may hurt themselves trying to fix. So far, things have been fine. I'm right at the weight limit of 220 lbs when fully equipped for the ride, and it still can do 20 mph and has a respectable ~14mi range while doing so (never measured exactly). The seat will need to be up higher than you'd expect if you're an adult. The lights work great and the front is adjustable with relative ease. This also means if you don't tighten it enough, it may rattle loose over the course of a ride. Overall, I can recommend this product based on how it performs and is as advertised, but this is with a BIG caveat that you'll want to know someone who is mechanically knowledgeable and/or comfortable with building a scooter/bike. While I'm no expert and have no professional expertise, I felt comfortable with how I had installed everything, but it wasn't without its risks or failures. Just be advised of the above, and invite a friend to help; the axel installation is a big hassel even with the extra hands.

I checked multiple stores and only Best Buy had what I needed, and at an affordable price. The e-scooter is great! It has a seat and a basket. 20 mph is plenty, and up to 25 miles of range is great for this price. I recommend the hiboy U2 e-scooter.

This scooter is a very solid build with clean welds and dual drum brakes. I am amazed at the quality for the price. You get more range and power over a similar priced scooter and I got this in store. I have four E scooters, two of which are dual motor hyperscooters. Besides the speed difference, my wife and I can ride all day paired up with the Hiboy.

My seated scooter is so fun to ride, it is so comfortable to use and feels very safe! I love how easy it is to fold and stow in the backseat of the car for long rides. I can’t wait to take it to go camping this summer! I also feel covered as I spent the money to insure the scooter and will be covered for two years so that gives me peace of mind as well!

This is an excellent scooter and seems to be built to last only problem is that the rear tire went flat May 03 2025 so I had to order a new tube and I never rode it enough to really enjoy it but when I did I stayed in nice clean sidewalks and kept my speed below 10 mph because I wanted it to last as long as possible because I use this scooter for my mobility scooter to get to Dr appointments and grocery shopping and I take it into the store and Dr office the reason I bought this is because I don't have any other way to go anywhere and the 4 wheel wheelchair are too slow and makes me feel old and I prefer these 2 wheeled electric scooter because it gives me freedom for fresh air and sunshine and without it I may as well stay in bed All day because I am retired and 71 years old and this scooter is the best investment I have ever made for my transportation needs except when it's raining or snowing

Have 2 which I’ve had about 45 days. They are so fun! I really like the cruise control and the 3 different speeds. The inner tubes seem to be on the cheap side as I got a flat on one tire my second time tiding it. Other than that no complaints! Again, a blast to ride!

In less than a year I haven’t had any electronic issues. Just a flat tire (twice) great product. If it could only go a little bit faster. Hehe

I have been getting around on my Hiboy for almost 3 months. It is my primary transportation. Everything works great except the back tire tube kept getting holes. The holes were on the inside where it contracts the rim, so not from punctures while riding. I finally replaced the entire back tire with a solid puncture proof one and have had no problems since. The worst part was that the rear tire is attached to the battery pack so anytime you mess with the rim you apply pressure to those wires. Mine disconnected, which I remedies by opening the base and soldered the wires to avoid any future issues. That being said, if your back rim and tube are good, you should be fine because I’ve had no other problems!

Bought for my son and he loves so much! Only problem is so do my wife and I! It’s so much fun and not to mention efficient transportation! Love it!

Over all the scooter is great. Truly if each scooter was tested by the retailer befor sold there would never be any issues with the product after coming from the manufacturer. But since that don’t happen u as a consumer must be careful and casually safe on buying the product or risk injury or potential death due to these scooters getting up to high speeds one thing I can say is test the scooter or product before leaving the store.
