Luckily, I have no experience with the protection that's safe offers from fire or flooding. My experience thus far has to do with delivery of multiple damaged items and the return process. The damage of the item has to come from the manufacturer because both times I had this safe delivered the outer packaging was intact. And undamaged. Honeywell needs to do a better job of quality control before packing them up and sending them out. The return process could be better. Instead of giving an exact pickup time, Best buy says UPS will attempt a pickup three times without giving a date before closing the case. Are we supposed to sit at home and wait for the doornell to ring for an unknown period of time? The other option was to return it to Best buy myself. If I wanted to lift this heavy little thing I would have picked it up from the store myself instead of having it delivered.

Nice safe for the price. Problem was that it was packed so as not to get damaged if shipped upright. It was left on its side at my door with dents. No way I’m going to repackage and return this 100lb hunk of steel and concrete so I’m living with it.

It was delivered with concealed damage. Obviously it had been dropped (damaged on 2 top corners). Trying to get help was horrible. It still works but we can’t lift it (our medical circumstances) so we’ll keep it. We can return it to the store but is too hard for us.

I did my research before purchasing and I’m very happy that I did. I purchased 2. Keypad lights up, you can set an alarm that is built in which will go off should someone try to get into it. Love that I can bolt it down to the floor as well, so nobody’s going to be able to walk off with it. You get 2 trays inside which is nice, instead of just laying your valuables on top of each other , you can organize it. The reason I purchased 2 is the weight involved, their approximately 110 lbs each, I’m going to have a dummy safe with pretend valuables and the other I’m hiding with my valuables. I’m definitely happy with my purchase! 2 hour fire and 8 hour water protection, a must have!! The best warranty you can find!!

It's a fantastic safe, I've had it for over a year now. It is starting to leak in random spots and the liquid coming out of the metal has a strong metallic smell, I don't know if that's safe. And around the safe are pieces of brown metallic smelling pieces of the dried liquid. I might need customer service to help me with that. Other than that, I love the safe and wish they had a bigger one. I use this to store important documents and narcotics.

Nice little safe. Had a few issues programming my unlock code, but figured itnout eventually. Glad it came with a key to unlock.

We just love this safe. Easy to set up, lots of room inside for valuables and papers. We loved it so much we bought a second one for a gift!!

2nd safe delivered. Huge dent in corner! 1st one had dents all over it! :( packaged terrible! Styrofoam only one side! Trying store pick up! We'll see. Diane K.

Great fire and water resistant safe. One issue is that it weighs ~ 113 lbs. So it is to heavy for my use and I had to return it to the store. I never opened the box. I am sure its an excellent safe, but not for me.
