Hoya - HMC ND8 52mm Neutral-Density Lens Filter - Clear work well for low light sitting, specially taking pictures of a waterfall.

This is a reasonably priced filter that I use on my Canon EF-M lenses. There are other more expensive filters you coukd buy but this one has been suitable for my needs. Ideally you'd want a slide in filter with an adapter, but this screw on filter works good when I'm on backpacking trips and want to watch the weight in my pack.

I took this filter out in the middle of a sunny day about 2pm and was able to take some exposures over a few seconds long to get the artistic photo style I was looking for. The images were crystal clear with this filter and it cut out a lot of flare from the suns reflections off of the water. It is good glass on this filter, but when cleaning make sure not to use chemicals because it can damage the special coating.

Really I'm still learning to use this but in over all its a awsome pc to add to the photo collection. Will this kill the sun glare completely no but will for the most part.

Works very well. No color cast I've been able to detect at all. Good construction and good optically

ND8 is a little too dark, however it works really well for video. The only thing I noticed is that compared to some more expensive versions you can see a slight waviness in the optics. I'm not sure how this effects quality. In the short daytime video I shot it seemed to preform well.

High quality neutral density filter that opens many doors to photography. Great for taking crisp long exposures during the day or while using harsh lighting. Fantastic product and one of my most used filters next to my polarizers. An essential for creative photography.

My solar filter cracked so I was desperate to find a way to improvise something that would allow me to take eclipse pictures. I bought a few of these and stacked them and it actually worked. I liked them so much one of them is in my bag now, all the time.

Not much too say on this besides that it serves its purpose and also protects my lens.

I've tested this against more expensive filters and the Hoya performs as good as the more expensive ones on the market. Hoya filters perform as good as the more expensive ones and cannot be beat for the price.

This is my go to filter for the majority of pictures. Colors are enhanced and the results are usually favorable in most conditions.
