A: Well, it will depend on how you actually use your laptop. If you spend most of your time spent surfing the internet, this laptop may be good for you. Android availability is featured, and surprisingly, you can download Microsoft Office's apps, which apps are like Word, Excel, Piwerpoint..., which perform the same like Google Docs, Sheets, Slides...If you spend your time doing heavier tasks like video editing, then this laptop is not for you.
A: If you close the laptop at any time without choosing any power options, it puts the Chromebook straight to Sleep mode. To shut it down, all you have to do is exit or minimize any windows you have open, where you're now viewing your computer wallpaper, click on your Google profile icon on the bottom right corner of the screen, and click the Power on/off icon next to the lock icon.
