I was nervous about purchasing a touchscreen but I love everything about this computer. Very easy to set up! Lightweight and has many different functions. Charges pretty fast and holds the charge for a long time. Has great video and audio quality.

Great value when this is on sale or open box. Better yet wait for a sale, and THEN get it open box! Full price? No way, look elsewhere. I'll be writing this review from the point of view of a power user / prosumer. First things first, the IPS screen is pretty washed out coming in around 40% sRGB coverage and fairly low brightness. If you are doing photo or video work, the base model screen will not do. It has a fairly heavy green cast to it which I was able to remove, but it's still fair at best. Out of the box as is I'd say it's barely average. Most users won't care to be honest that are just doing basic desktop work while indoors. For my use case I don't really care, but it's noticeable. I have to run my brightness about 3/4 of the way up, so not a great laptop for going outside with most likely. The reflective screen gives a nice sharp text, but at the cost of reflections. The Ryzen 5 5625U is the star of the show being a Zen3 6 core part. It's very easy to find lots of older 5000 series parts that are really warmed over Zen2 4000 series stuff. The 5500U is a great example. Very confusing unless you look up each CPU or understand the naming systems. This machine punches somewhere between a 1700X and 2700X desktop parts depending while consuming about 33 watts in performance mode. The cooling is pretty good if you enable "fan always on" in the BIOS, it's disabled by default. No need to disable 'Turbo Boost' no matter what the internet tells you on this model. Fan noise is acceptable even when you are doing a heavy workload. It's not silent, but I've heard much worse. Don't expect to do any gaming on this unless it's older / very light or e-sports and some indy titles. The Vega 7 iGPU is enough to accelerate your desktop and browser without complaint though. Memory is a two-slot affair with 2 x 4GB SO-DIMMs at 3200Mhz CL22 and very cheap to upgrade to 16GB. I paid about $40 bucks for a kit. Don't bother with gamer kits, this thing will just run JEDEC timings anyways. Easy to open, no screws under the rubber feet on these refreshed models unlike the Envy models before this. There is no option I saw to keep the battery charge around 80% for those who stay plugged in a lot. I think that is only on Probook level machines. Silly omission. Build quality is good, easy to open, stays pretty cool to the touch under all but the most demanding workloads. Camera has a physical mechanical shutter, which is just kinda cool. Great machine, if you can get it at the right price point. P.S. for users who want to dual boot Win11 and Linux - They make installing Linux a little odd, with the BIOS having a sub menu for the boot order that isn't intuitive. Getting grub to be the primary bootloader took some trial and error, detailed below. Enter the BIOS with F10 and head to the boot order menu. Move the regular boot order with F5 and F6, but you have to press enter on the bootloader option itself, which will bring up another menu allowing you to select between Windows Boot Manager, and grub. Swap the order with F5/F6, and press F10 to accept while in the submenu. If you just hit escape, it will revert to what it had before. You're welcome, no idea why it doesn't give each one its own overall option in the main order.

Love my new HP laptop, it’s a laptop and can fold back to be used as a tablet. Very convenient and easy to use, navigation is simple and very lightweight. Needed it for work stuff and am very pleased with my purchase highly recommend.

I bought this laptop back in november 2022, it is now august 2023, when im now posting this review. Everything has maintained good for the past (almost) year! I use this laptop for occasional light gaming, web browsing, watching videos, etc! This runs fortnite at a smooth 120 fps, no lag spikes or crashes. But i dont use it all of the time, maybe once or twice a month. You can keep a lot of tabs open without it crashing or being glitchy, if you like to have a bunch of tabs open. You can fold it in half to make it look like a tablet. It really looks like a huge tablet! And works as one too! The keyboard disables once you fold it into tablet mode. There is also face ID for this laptop, however no fingerprint ID. It is quite heavy and thick, which i dont mind. But it still slides right into a lot of my bookbags! The only downside is that i cant really find a case for it. But i havent looked deep into it- im sure if i looked harder id definitely find one!

This laptop is the first upgrade i've made (since my dad bought me a laptop) and I'm so glad i did. I'll mainly use it for school and personal use, but I believe it will be perfect for that job. I've already spent hours on it setting things up for college, and my sister spent many more hours on it applying for jobs. She was also pleased with the display and will probably want one just like it for christmas. It's definitely much faster on video calls and internet speed than my old computer. Thankfully i havent run into the battery life problem yet, but I will make sure to take my charger with me everytime i go anywhere around campus or out and about :)

Good at an affordable price. Its a 360 degree laptop and super cool.

I purchased the HP-Envy a couple months ago, and can truly say that is one fo the best purchases I've made! The ease of use, sleek design, and light weight makes is and easy on-the-go device to use. I highly recommend this product

This laptop is extremely fast! The processor works amazing, the memory is insane, and the clean display makes it nice to look at. The battery does die within 5-6 hours but apart from that, this laptop is worth every penny. The backlit keyboard & face recognition is extremely well functioning. Overall, I love this laptop and it's perfect for me as a college student.

I adore my computer. It features a touchscreen display and can be flipped to sit up like a tablet on a stand. Additionally, it folds down completely, just like a tablet, which is my favorite feature. It’s an excellent device for both on-the-go entertainment and work.

Yes I do like my new laptop computer. Happy with my purchase and the assistance at the store was great! The best part is I received $300 OFF! I used Prog Leasing with only $60 down and 90 days same as cash or 12 month lease to own, I also received Microsoft Word 365 for $70 for a year at a $30 discount and received a $30 gift card that I used towards my Laptop case by Kate Spade!

I love the size and weight! It’s really thin and light making it easier to fit in my purse. My only complaint is that the volume from the speakers is awful! Some videos play really loud then other you can barely hear anything!

Based on the specs this probably is a midrange laptop. Decent speed, memory and storage for above casual use. For high spec gaming you would need more memory and something more beyond amd Radeon graphics but you can still run most games at optimized or medium level graphics.

Good computer for amazing price. Good speed can be used for daily task.

The laptop is wonderful, however in store they said said it should have came with a stylus which is IMO a necessity with this laptop but mine did not so it doesnt get a full 5 stars.

Love it!!! It's faster than anything else I've had. Boots up very fast and can even connect to my Tv via Bluetooth

As a college student this an affordable laptop. With it’s light weight I can take almost anywhere, allowing me to complete presentation and zoom calls.

The display is honestly so pristine and sleek. Extremely small bezel, great resolution and brightness. Touch screen with screen orientation and flips all the way back for tablet use. I love this thing and it’s exactly what I wanted for learning to day trade AND draw/photo edit for clothes prints

I recently purchased a laptop and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and features.

Biught as a student laptop for college and work, and it's handled both simultaneously great!

Great computer for school!! It’s not loud and the screen is really clear. It’s not slow and it had good memory storage for school.
