Q: Does this computer have a disk drive and camera?
A: The HP OMEN 16L comes with a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD that's a 2280 size drive that fits into a PCIe 4.0 slot, uses 3.3V DC and 2.5A, offering up to 6000 MB/s read speed and up to 5400 MB/s write speed. It does not come with a camera.
A: I bought a different pre build and that happened to me crashing every 4-5 minutes no port display popping up your gpu or software is messed up gotta return or get advanced replacement. That’s why I’m looking at pcs I have to wait till Monday to even report it.
A: The HP OMEN 16L comes with one stick of XPG LANCER 16 GB DDR5-5600 MT/s RGB Heatsink RAM (1x16 GB). You can add another to double it.
Q: Can this pc upgraded the cpu and gpu?
A: I imagine that both could be upgraded. The CPU would need to fit into an LGA 1700 CPU socket. And although you could upgrade the GPU, you might have to also upgrade the 500-watt power supply to support the new GPU.
Q: What mother board is inside ?
A: Usually on these pre-builds, they put whatever appropriate MOBO they can get at the time of assembly, so I doubt you will get a single, final answer.
Q: can this unit be placed horizontal as a console would in open air shelf?
A: I believe so, especially since you mentioned open-air. The main concern would be any obstructions to its air vents. I recommend contacting HP and asking them directly before deciding to do this, though.
