I wanted a compact laptop because I was used to using a Surface Pro tablet, and this model met my needs in terms of size. It is fairly light and slim. The non-lattice keyboard took some getting used to, but it’s OK. Battery life is also pretty good. When I first powered it on, it went through the usual PC setup process. During an update restart, it froze on the HP screen. After about 40 minutes, I performed a hard shutdown, turned it back on, and it completed the setup. Since then, it sometimes performs normally after shutdown and during restarts, sometimes it hangs up and I have to push the power button twice to get it to complete the process even after executing all the recommended fixes.
