I got these for my boyfriend for his birthday, he seems pretty impressed with them. He likes the sound quality and uses them any chance he gets. he even watches shows/movies with the headphones! I tried them on myself and they are pretty comfortable. He likes that you can detach the mouth piece, sound adjustment on the side and a couple other settings. Overall, a little pricey, but well worth the purchase!

After researching all available wireless Xbox headsets, I'm very pleased with my purchase. HyperX's attention to quality and comfort 8.5/10. Sound quality is 7/10 with factory settings. I would recommend Dolby Atoms App on Xbox because after tweaking with a custom audio setting I personally improved the sound quality to at least 8.5/10. Only issue would be the USB dongle with random no connection at headset powerup, but easily fixed with reinserting the dongle. So far this is the only audio issue, I've experienced NO audio drops or interference while it's connected. I personally wouldn't recommend for young kids because I'm not sure how much abuse they could take but anyone more mature would find them a excellent choice.

I own a lot of gaming headsets including Astro A40s, Rig 800LX, Razer Kraken, and more recently these HyperX and I can say without a doubt these are the best sounding and most comfortable so far. After about a month of heavy use they are great!

I’ve been using my HyperX Xbox headphones and they’ve been fantastic. The sound quality is crisp and immersive, with strong bass and clear highs, making gameplay feel much more intense and engaging. The noise-canceling microphone is a standout—it picks up my voice clearly without background noise. They’re also extremely comfortable for long gaming sessions, with soft ear cushions and a lightweight design that doesn’t cause fatigue. The wireless connection is reliable with minimal lag, and battery life holds up well even with extended use. Whether I’m playing competitive shooters or just chatting with friends, these headphones deliver top-tier performance and comfort.

I just picked these up today after watching a few YouTube review videos. The game changer with this headset is the dongle. ALL Xbox One headsets utilize connecting to the console itself and that is what makes them susceptible to audio drops, chat drops and interference. The dongle eliminates all of those messes. I can finally enjoy my games without being annoyed by drops and interference. The sound with this headset is awesome! I haven't even had them at full volume and they blow my last 3 headsets out of the water. I'm sorry, but even the top of the line Astro headset can't match this one. Hopefully future wireless headsets developed for the Xbox utilize a dongle. I normally don't review products, but I had to this time because the headset is that great!

[Employee of bestbuy] Nothing wrong to be said towards this besides prefrence the cuffs on the ear are a little wrinkled too muc that it gives a slight uncomfortable feeling, but once you kind of straighten them out, it feels just fine. My quality is pretty solid has a great peak level into his so no rupturing can happen if you are too loud into the mic and the fact that it’s wireless makes it a whole lot more convenient. also, if you like this, heads up and play call of duty there is a free code for cosmetics

I returned the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 for these as us had bad battery life, would randomly disconnect, and worst of all was just too quiet. It also felt cheaply made. This HyperX Cloud Flight fixes all of those issues and more. Battery life is great, sound is more crisp and clear. If I had a complaint it’s that you cant adjust the equalizer any. These could use more base. They also don’t have windows sonic or Dolby Atmos support. But I barely noticed that as they are very high quality stereo. I’d argue these work better for special sound recognition than 7.1 headphones because it’s completely obvious where sounds are coming from with these, where as with 7.1 it can at times be confusing where EXACTLY a sound is coming from. Build quality is great for these too and they are extremely comfortable. There is no battery meter on the Xbox and no blutooth.

I got this headset in june 2023 and its now june 2025 and I am still using this headset. Setup was simple and easy i had no issue. With heavy game play use the battery does last I'd say for 24 hours before i have to charge it. But if im not hardcore gaming I'd say it last 3 days give or take. The ear pieces have suffered some damage the material is chipping off but it doesnt bother me. 10/10 would repurchase again.

I got this headset a while ago and it has been working the same. I don't use the mic anymore. The sound quality on the headset is really good compared to lots of other headsets. Its great for its price. Its hasn't had anything affect the way it is even though I throw it around my room. Its connection is great, just disconnects sometimes but is no Biggy because all I have to do I put the adapter in and take it out. Also connects to Xbox which is nice to have.

It has solid sound but I'd like it to confirm to my head more. The range is great, everything is great, it all just comes down to it slipping off my head if I'm laying back or leaning forward a tiny bit.

I returned my arctics 9x (Xbox one version) a lot of audio drop offs, certain points it just completely shuts off for 3 seconds. Sure having the ability to adjust sound the way you want was awesome, but also comes at a cost. You have to take the time to adjust them to sound perfect. The presets it comes with didn’t do it justice. I wanted to like them so bad I tried convincing myself they were good. Some people will have their opinions and that’s fine. The hyper flights designed for the Xbox one are night and day better. You lose out on the presets but the stock audio is so much more clear and I was able to hear directional sound better than previous headset. It can get loud and still stays crisp. Even the mic is better, friends and family said they can hear me much more clear. I bought these for $129 or $199 arctic 9x. You lose out on a couple of features but with the audio not cutting off at all on the flights it is the best. It is tighter around the head and can feel uncomfortable but if you adjust properly it’s not bad at all. You definitely can tell it’s not as premium looking like the 9x’s but again I can’t stress how much more I enjoy the flights. Simple plug in play, no extra steps, and simple to connect.

I was previously using an Astro A50 (gen 3) for my Xbox One X, but when I upgraded to a Series X I found out that it lacked an optical port. Despite the firmware update to use the A50 through USB, the sound quality was terrible, rendering my A50 useless because I had custom presets that were only usable through the optical port. Now using the CloudX Flight, though the sound quality will never be better than my A50, its good enough for me to play competitively. They fit well on my head and don't cut blood flow to my ears, even with glasses on. Setup is SUPER quick and easy. According to HyperX tech support, the best audio settings to use through the Xbox UI is setting it to "Stereo Uncompressed". The actual build quality and packaging of the headset does not feel like a $160+ product. Mic is clear according to the friends I play with online. To sum it up, HyperX still provides better audio than most other headsets at a reasonable price. I chose this brand because I've previously owned a HyperX Cloud Alpha and I loved it. For now, this will be the headset to use until Astro creates a worthy successor to the A50.

Outstanding quality. HyperX delivers as usual this time really showing off their premium headsets. Surround sound is great and battery and connectivity as well.
