A: Not sure about cow, but can easily fit 3 humans.

A: From the manual: If you use your freezer in a garage, make sure that the ambient temperature is greater than 55° F (13° C)
A: I purchased a 'Watt Killer" gauge and tested the chest freezer. With the door open and the interior light on it draws .027amps. With door open and kicking on the compressor the less than 1/2 second start up surge was 3.3 amps. With the door open and running the compressor at steady state it only draws .7 amps. So about half the listed rate of 1.4amps. Overall I am greatly impressed with the efficiency of this unit! My small backup generator delivers 13.3 amps@ 120v in steady state running so I am set for earthquakes and PG&E anticipated blackouts.
