great overall I have it set to stay with my pc equipment and lamp lights, I can add more chargers needed at the same side and keep everything easy to get with. all as instructed

This is not a 6 outlet power strip: cords with a grounding wire or that are oddly shaped or slightly larger than "typical" will make one or both of the adjacent plugs inaccessible, realistically limiting the usage to 4 outlets. The spacing is 2cm within the row and 1cm between rows. The product is minimal and unobtrusive, built sturdy enough, and the angled wall plug is convenient, but do not make up for the obscenely close outlet spacing and massive extra space to the edge. At purchase, the cost was acceptable for a no-frills, space-conscious, pickup-ready item. Oh, my naivety, my greed! Upon receipt, I eagerly unboxed the product, and saw that the outlets looked a bit close. I dismissed the notion- "surely, if an angled wall plug had been incorporated, it would not have such a flagrant design flaw, right?" To my abject horror, as I tried to plug things in, I saw that, indeed, most plugs were too close to fit, but for some reason, there was a ballpark between the two rows of outlets and edges (1.5cm and 5.5cm, measured out of spite). I hate this monstrosity with both of my eyes. If you value your sanity, do not subject yourself to this item.

Insignia made something that works as a power strip, but the design is poorly executed. Basically, this works great if you're using regular standard cords. It's a clean, minimalist white power strip that fits well with modern home décor. There's a switch on top that lets you turn everything off at once, or you can ignore it and just use it as a regular power strip. It's got rubber pads to keep your furniture safe and prevent sliding, and you can wall mount it with the two holes for nails or screws. Plenty of options, so it's pretty adaptable for home or office setups. Now here's where the design flaws start to show. The design allows for enough space for charge bricks, but it really needed about a half inch more space in the center between the outlet rows. Throw in an Apple charger or any other bulky charge brick and you end up cutting off the adjacent plug, which defeats the whole purpose. This would've been perfect if things didn't get blocked when power bricks are plugged in opposite each other. Because of the lack of spacing in the center of the strip, I only have 5 out of 6 outlets actually usable. Each time you introduce a brick, you lose an outlet because it extends just slightly into the other side of the strip. I do like the flat, 45-degree plug that's low-profile and leaves less space between the wall and your furniture. It's white, so it blends into my home décor and doesn't stand out like a black or gray one would. It looks modern and straightforward. I just wish the plugs had more space in the center to leave room for more clearance when using power bricks. Maybe a USB port or two would've made this perfect for desktop use, but it is perfect for areas behind and under furniture. This is a no brainer if you're looking for a quality, no frills power outlet and not the typical inline 6-plug pattern that's an eyesore.

Insignia - 4’ 6 Outlet Power Strip with Power Switch - White. I liked the non traditional single row long power strip cause of the space I wanted to use it in the single row was to long. The low profile plug was perfect for the tight space and the way it fits in the socket you are still able to use the other outlet. It’s is an awesome power strip with an on off switch it has a 4’ cord length which in all reality is not that long but long enough, it will fit six traditional style power plugs, then the tricky part depending on what your trying to plug in like certain charging blocks due to their size & shape they do over lap and covers part of the outlet next to it so now your down to five outlets, but with today’s technology I personally feel like we had less traditional shaped plugs now, and most charging blocks can be used for multiple things so I was ok with losing an outlet it’s being used in a location where I’m not needing all six at once, if the spacing between them was just a little bit further apart it would be perfect. Couple other features on the underside it does have four little rubber feet so it grips some if you have it sitting on top of something and it also has the option to be able to mount it to something wall, desktop workspace, under a cabinet etc. ps it does not come with mounting hardware but it just basic screws holes are the push the outlet onto the screws then slide down to lock it in place. I am pretty satisfied.

This is a power strip. It functions well in terms of connectivity, durability, and ease of use. One selling point is the different arrangement of outlets, purported to be spread out more than usual to make room for power bricks or various chargers. As others have pointed out, though, the arrangement seems to cause at least as many problems as it solves. While the wider spacing does sometimes accommodate plugs that otherwise would block the neighboring outlet in a traditional power strip, the 2-row orientation quite frequently means that one plug blocks use of the aligning outlet in the other row. I have included a number of photographs showing various plugs in various configurations. My conclusion is that this configuration of outlets is different from others, which might make it ideal in certain circumstances, but it is not obviously better by any measure I could think of. Here are some specific findings: - The spacing is wide enough to accommodate a small (20 W) USB charger next to a standard plug, but not 2 chargers next to each other. - All but the smallest of my charging blocks would also block the outlet in the other row. - Any chargers wider than my 20 W charger (e.g. a 65 W charger, pictured, black, or a larger low-voltage lighting adapter) block the neighboring outlet *and* the outlet in the other row. The plug on the cord has an angled wire. This is getting more common these days, and I like it, though again it’s not always better than a straight cord. The cable itself is a little bit stiffer than ideal but still quite standard and functions just fine. The on/off switch is narrower and easier to press than some. However, I did not find that it would cause any problems with accidentally bumping it and turning off my electronics when I didn’t want it to. It’s a solid switch. Overall, this is another variation on a standard power strip that may or may not be good for any particular application. Variety is appreciated to allow for those weird cases when the other option doesn’t quite work.

PRODUCT: Insignia - 4 6 Outlet Power Strip with Power Switch - White I nice little (small) power strip for when you need a few extra outlets. The power strip is at home in most environments (home / office) it is a nice neural white color and very low profile. The 90 degree plug also works well behind a sofa or other furniture you might have against the wall. In my case I have a very small home office with a sofa-bed against the wall. Traditional plugs stick out too far, and when I block the outlet then I don't have anywhere to plug in other needed devices like chargers. This solved that problem perfectly. Now I can have my sofa flush against the wall without risking breaking the cord or outlet. There are 6 well spaced outlets so you can also fit "most" bulky power supplies if needed. As near as I can tell there is no surge protection. There are no USB or other charger ports. The cord is nice and thick, so it should not be an issue plugging in higher power devices like printers into the power strip. RECOMMENDATION Overall I recommend the power strip, it is a good value, looks nice, and I like the angled plug.

It is another good Insignia power strip that I get, this one is perfect because it has a power switch that I can just turn everything off when not in use. The box is simple and it is just the power strip, it is easy to setup and it can stay on the floor or it can be hung on a wall since it does have two spaces to slide screw heads on the back for that. I also like that the power strip has enough space on each side to plug different blocks or bigger plugs without having minimal space problem. The cord is 4 feet long, I did not want anything longer because the outlet is there it just does not have 6 plugs like the power switch does. The grounded cord can handle 1625 watts and it is enough for the system I am using. And being able to turnoff everything is best for me since there are times where I do not use what is plugged on to it. Overall, this is our third Insignia power strip since we have another one that has USB A and USB C charging ports, and this one can be turned off easily and it is affordable, in other words, Insignia has plenty of choices to pick from depending on everyone needs.

This lets me plug it in and set it on a table. I do not have to bend to plug in a device, and I can plug mote than one device at at time - nothing but convenience.

The power strip does what its intended. And the plug is nice, makes it easier for additional plugs at the outlet, because its angled.

i intentionally got a power strip w/o a surge protector so that i could use it on my cruise trip, and it was incredibly helpful! older ships dont usually have a lot of outlets in the staterooms (in our case, just the one) and getting a strip that didnt have surge protection is essential to avoid fire hazards. the spacing on this one was also useful since we had a decent amount of things that needed to be plugged in, some of which have large blocks at the port

Great 6 outlet extension. Able to plug in 6 devices.

Nice flat wall plug and works as it should. Price is a bit expensive, but what else isn’t these days?
