The Insignia fixed soundbar mount is well made and adjustable to fit up to 6.3 inch deep and can handle weights of up to 22lb soundbars. Adjusting the depth was very easy through a screw bolt at the bottom but if you tighten it a lot the end of the bolt sticks up into the mount padding (refer to picture). The smallest depth is 4.13 inches. I wanted this so I can mount my soundbar and get a floating shelf. The mount is slim and thin so you can’t see it behind the soundbar if it’s a larger sized sound bar. My soundbar is on the smaller side so unfortunately it didn’t fit snug. But not a deal breaker because I have it pulled forward so you don’t see the gap in the front. I like that the mounts have thick padding so it doesn’t scratch the sound bar. Installing the mounts was very easy. The kit comes with different hardware to fit any wall type and comes with a wall anchor as well. It’s also easy to level and adjust even after mounting. Overall, if you are looking for an easy to install and inexpensive soundbar mount this is worth it. The reason for the 4 stars was because it doesn’t fit smaller soundbars.

Unboxing and First Impressions - This sound bar mount system includes the mounts, directions and assorted hardware for drywall, to stud or masonry mounting. The mounts are expandable to accomodate most soundbars, are made of steel, padded and include a front lip to retain the installed sound bar. Additional hardware is included to screw-lock the soundbar to the mount. Instruction Manual call out ! - The included instructions are EXCELLENT. They are written in clear readable english with numerous illustrations detailing howto:, various mounting scenarions, how to measure and details on what fasteners to use and in what situation. Not only is this perfect for DIY'ers - It is a level beyond what is typically included with other brands and types of similar hardware. Best Buy's insigia brand once again has exceeded what I expected. Installation - I installed on-stud for both brackets after measuring. I appreciate the open screwholes to allow for perfect and flush alighment and parallel once placing a soundbar. The screws included were of a high quality and showed no sign of being easily stripped or being bent during an installation. What I loved - Way better than expected instructions ! Quality, heavy metal brackets. Rubber padding to avoid any vibration.

We needed brackets or mount for our soundbar so the TV and Soundbar would be on the same wall and without using a table or entertainment center, and these brackets worked as we wanted, now the wall looks clean without cables all around and best of all, great sound for our TV since most TVs do not come with great sound because lack of space. The Insignia Fix Soundbar Mount brackets came in its box well packaged and ready to be installed. We have a TV that is installed on the wall and we wanted to mount the soundbar on the wall too so these brackets helped do that. First of all, these brackets are for soundbars that are under 22 lbs. and our soundbar weights less than that. The bars should be between 4.13 and 6.3 in depth. As for the installation, it is easy, the hardware needed for installation is included, it comes with hardware and instructions. The screws can be directly install into the studs but if there are no studs directly on where to install the brackets, the kit comes with anchors so it can hold onto the drywall, and since it is up to 22 lbs. the drywall installation for us was best, and they are still holding on the soundbar. The brackets have a cushion so they hold the soundbar softlyu and also quietly since it does not rattle or make any unwanted noise. I also like that the brackets are adjustable to accommodate different sizes of soundbars. The brackets do come with 1 year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The mounts do work as intended, they look great, easy installation and we will get it again for our next soundbar.

This is a great product. It comes with two brackets that are lined with silicon which worked very well to avoid any noise vibrations. It also came with the hardware including screws and anchors to enable various installation options without going off to hunt for screws. The brackets are very solid steel that slide to allow them to be easily sized to the depth of your soundbar. An installation tip is to preset the depth of the brackets by sliding to fit your soundbar and then tighten the screw on the bottom of the brackets before you install the brackets on the wall. My soundbar depth is 4.5 inches which fit fine since these brackets will accommodate a depth of 4.13 to 6.3 inches. My soundbar is 36 inches wide and my studs were 24 inches on center. I chose to just attach the brackets to the wall studs using the center hole on each bracket. The brackets come well packaged and were in tip top condition. The brackets arrive with a very complete manual to show all types of installations. This is a well-done product, a tip of the cap to the folks who designed these little brackets. They look great and my audio is far better from my soundbar than before when it sat on my TV stand. Also the stand looks cleaner. Just took 10 minutes to install the brackets to the wall (see photos). I would highly recommend these brackets for the improved spatial sound, smoother appearance and ease of installation.

This Insignia universal soundbar mount does exactly what it says. It can hang most any soundbar that’s 22 pounds and under to the wall. The mounts themselves are relatively small and all but disappear from view after installed. Some manufacturers might have better means of attaching specific soundbars to the wall to minimize all hardware from view, but for its general purpose, this is a well priced option that gets the job done. My only minor gripe is that it doesn’t include all the mounting hardware you might need, and there’s no template to help you get them perfectly aligned (i.e. level). So long as you have some basic DIY knowledge of wall anchors and have a few in your house (better yet, find a wood stud) it’s dead simple to install. Just be mindful of placement of the mounts for balance and ensuring they’re not off center. In the box you get the mounts, a small instructional pamphlet, and a clear plastic sleeve of hardware. There were a few washers, some anchors for masonry, and a few bolts (the bolts were for thread mounting your soundbar to the bottom of the brackets - my soundbar didn’t have any threadmounts in the bottom of it). I was putting my mount in drywall, so I needed to use some drywall anchors. Luckily I had a few sitting around the house and luckily soundbars aren’t so heavy as to need heavy duty anchors. Obviously, if you have a stud finder, screwing them into wood studs is the better bet. And if you can find a stud, you only need one screw per bracket, versus using 2 drywall anchors per bracket. I hung the soundbar and brackets on the wall and kind of eyeballed the height. I then held a finger where that was and mounted the first bracket using drywall anchors. I then placed the soundbar on the affixed bracket, and then eyeballed where to put the second. I used a level to get it straight. I then made holes for the second bracket and then voila, I was done. There is a Phillips screw in the bottom of the bracket that allows you to adjust the width of the bracket to match your specific soundbar. I fixed the width and tightened that screw before even beginning to install my brackets on the wall. The biggest concern (I think) you’ll have is spacing out the brackets between themselves. I simply used the rubber feet on the bottom of my soundbar as reference points. I placed the brackets to the inside of those rubber feet and slid the bracket up to the rubber feet on both ends of the soundbar. This ensured that they were equi-distant between them. Was my installation absolutely perfect? Probably not, I mostly did it by eyeball and I can’t tell the difference when I look at it from afar - it looks straight and even. Best of all, it took all of 5 minutes. I really like the look of the soundbar under my projector screen versus being on the floor (I have a projector screen in a relatively small room in my basement, too small for a full on surround system). It does look more professional. The only thing to consider is hiding the cables. If you mount the soundbar directly under the TV, you might not even notice, but if you leave a little gap, you’ll see the wires unless you take extra steps to hide them. I’d consider just mounting your soundbar as close to the bottom of the TV as possible to minimize your efforts. All in all, I’m pleased with the product. It’s simple, not particularly sexy, but it fixes a problem and does it well.

I picked up the Insignia Fixed Soundbar Mount (rated for soundbars up to 22 lbs) so I could add the soundbar after making the decision to wall mount my tv. Overall the mounting system is easy to use, but you'll need to ensure the setup works for your soundbar and cable management system. In the box are the brackets, installation hardware (M4, M5, M6 screws, M5 lag bolts, washers and wall anchors for concrete) and instructions. Note that the brackets are rated for soundbars up to 22 lbs and a max of 6.3" deep via sliding adjustment of the bracket arm length. If your soundbar has the option of threaded inserts on the bottom, the brackets will work for this by using a screw to secure the soundbar to the channel in the horizontal arms of the bracket. Mine did not, and my soundbar has removable rear speakers which magnetically connect to the primary sound bar, so I needed to space the brackets so that the connection between the primary bar and the removable rear speakers were supported by the bracket arm. For this reason, and to center under the TV, I had to install the brackets in the drywall versus on the studs. While there are drywall anchors included, it doesn't state the load rating, and due to having a 15 lb cat who will likely parkour off of the soundbar at 3 am, I went ahead and used my own drywall anchors rated to 60 lbs. Once the bracket distance is calculated, mount the brackets to the wall via drywall, studs, or concrete hardware, there are a total of 3 holes in the upright part of the bracket, so you do have options for how you want to mount and level pending skillset and tools. Since I have a long level, and had already measured the distance between the tv and floor as well as distance to center, I was able to mount one bracket, then use the level to ensure the second bracket was seated at the correct spacing while being level. Once the brackets are securely mounted to the wall, I then placed the soundbar on the brackets and adjusted the bottom screw to lock the bracket arm length in place. This is where things became slightly disappointing. The soundbar has rear ports, which does not allow me to mount the soundbar flush against the bracket. I had to find a 90 degree elbow for the HDMI cable as well as add in a 1/4" to allow for the power cord to bend enough to fit into my cable management run. For this reason, the sound bar isn't securely seated in the brackets, and while I don't expect it to move, there is a possibility of the soundbar falling out if someone were to bump it from underneath. I think the mounting brackets would be perfect for a soundbar with side or bottom ports, which would allow the soundbar to sit flush against the brackets and would lock into the arms securely, or if the soundbar had the bottom threaded inserts to mount to. Since this setup wasn't optimized for my setup, I took off a star, and caution others to check their mounting options prior to purchasing. Otherwise I have no concerns with the sturdiness or mounting options offered by these brackets. While not recommended, the brackets have securely withstood the 20 lb soundbar, plus the 15 lb cat for brief periods of time with no issues and the soundbar has remained securely positioned in the arms.

I wanted to get my soundbar off the TV stand and onto the wall, and overall I'm impressed with what you get for the price. The mount itself is sturdy and well-built. Once installed, it holds the soundbar firmly against the wall with zero flex or sag. I have no concerns about it supporting the weight over time — it feels rock solid and inspires confidence that your equipment is secure. After mounting, the sound was unchanged. Being closer to the wall did not diminish what the soundbar can do. One standout detail is the hardware kit. The included wall anchors are high quality and feel like they belong in a more premium package. They grip into drywall with authority, and I didn't need to make a trip to the hardware store for better ones, which I’ve had to deal with before on similar purchases. The instructions are clear, as was finding the screws and mounts. That said, there are two areas where the design falls short. First, there are no wire guides or clips for cable routing. Once the soundbar is mounted, you're left to figure out how to manage the power and audio cables on your own. A couple of simple cable clips would have gone a long way toward a cleaner finished look. Best Buy considered them not to be Essential! Second, and more frustrating, there's no paper template or alignment guide included to help keep the two separate mounting brackets level with each other during installation. You'll need to carefully measure and use your own level to make sure the brackets line up. I have a laser level which I used, mounted on a tripod. This may be overkill for some, but I don’t know how you would do it otherwise. This feels like a missed step — a simple paper template taped to the wall would solve the problem entirely and not take up much extra space. Best Buy did this for the TV mounts I’d purchased. I’d have hoped this was more universal. Bottom Line: A well-made, sturdy mount with quality anchors and clear instructions. Just be prepared to supply your own cable management solution and do some extra measuring to get the brackets aligned. Recommended for anyone comfortable with a tape measure and a level.

I am someone who is constantly changing things over to the latest and greatest technology. I would say in the past 10 years I have had at least 8-10 different sound bars. Each of them having different mounting brackets with different screw patterns and I can say my wall looks like Swiss cheese from all of those. That is why I was very happy to try this out. A universal mount that I can easily swap out just about any sound bar I want without having to add any new holes to my wall after the initial installation. Out of the box, these appear to be very well made steel brackets. They can hold sound bars from 4.13” to 6.3” deep, which will probably fit most sound bars you would ever have. They also state that a pair of brackets can hold a sound bar up to 22 pounds, which will also be pretty much any sound bar you can find. I’m sure if you had one that was heavier, you could get an additional set and add another bracket or 2 as needed. Installing them is very easy. The package comes with everything you need. Nice long screws, wall anchors if you aren’t able to get them into a stud, and a small allen key for adjusting the bracket to tighten it down on your sound bar. I would definitely recommend getting these into a stud if at all possible, that will give you the most stability. For me, I had them installed in less than 10 minutes. We have 3 different sound bars in our house, and it worked well for all of them. A Samsung Q990D, an LG H7, and a Sonos Arc Ultra. The Sonos wasn’t quite as solid due to the more rounded edges, but it fit in the brackets and I feel its definitely stable enough for long term use. Overall, these are great brackets, and if you have a sound bar you want to mount to a wall, this is probably the best option you will find!

I needed a bracket to raise my Samsung sound bar on the wall. There was just enough adjustment for me to make this sound bar to rest on the brackets. These brackets have a nice weight to them and seem very durable. Black in color. Nice adjustability to the platform area. I don't see the need to buy more expensive brackets Easy to install. Bracket did not droop under weight of the sound bar and there were no dynamic noise vibration sounds at higher volume levels. Would recommend this. Two brackets were in the package along with mounting hardware. Comes with a sort of hollow wall anchor and four screws with an allen wrench/phillips driver. Compactly packed in the box. Bracket base has adjustability of 4.13 to 6.3 inches using a black phillips screw. Holds up to 22 pounds. There are silicone pads to ameliorate vibration noises. This is a universal mount for various sound bar brands. Mine was a long and narrow rectangular shape with tapered top and bottom edges.

The Insignia Fixed Soundbar Mount system is a simple and effective way to elevate your soundbar. This offers the benefit of not relying on an existing TV wall mounting system, opening up range of flexible placement options you may not otherwise get. The kit feels high quality, a mix of steel and rubber (which serves to provide a grippy surface for the soundbar). Max weight from the manufacturer is said to be 22 lbs, though I suspect that's on the low side of what this could support. Mounting to the wall is simple, achieved either by mount to a stud directly or using the included drywall anchors. For me, I had easy access to a stud so the decision was easy. The only complaint here is that they should've had two vertically aligned holes in the center to make stud mounting easier. Aside from the free floating design of this mount, the best feature by far is the width adjustment, allowing this mounting system to accommodate a vast array of all types of soundbars, regardless of depth. This is achieved via a set screw that you can tighten on the bottom to set the depth. It's a simple design but well considered and much appreciated. Overall, not much more to say about this. It works well, does exactly what it's designed to, and is a great option for those looking for a free floating mounting system for their soundbar.

The Insignia adjustable soundbar mounts are a great way to make more room on your cabinet or your table or where ever you have your television. If you are like me, you probably have your television mounted on the wall, but still need someplace to have your sound bar so that you can get that immersive sound we all want when we are watching a movie or even our favorite show. Sometimes we would just like to get soundbar off the table and closer to the screen so that we can not just make more room on the table, but also get the sound closer to the television screen. That is where these small metal brackets really come into play. These Insignia brackets are suitable for soundbars between 4.13 and 6.3 inches deep. That is a pretty good size range and will fit most common soundbars, but that is something you will want to confirm before purchasing these brackets. The Insignia soundbar brackets also have a weight limit of twenty two pounds which I expect will cover all but the most robust soundbars. These brackets come as a pair and include all of the necessary mounting hardware. If you are looking to mount your soundbar on the wall, these should do nicely.

The Insginia soundbar mount is well constructed and comes with a veriety of diferent types of mounting hardware. Depending on your soundbar’s weight will determin if you need to screw your mounts into the studs or not. I was able to use some drywall screws on one mount and the included screws for the other mount, soundbar mounting hardware may vary. Our sounddbar is 39” wide by 4” deep and not a heavy soundbar at that. Remember when mounting set to your ear lever for best sound. Dementions of the mounts can be adjusted fron 6-8 inches from the wall and as wide as needed for your application. You will need a level, scocket set or wrench set even a cresent wrench to install properly. I used painters tape to mark where holes go after leveling. You don’t need to be in construction to mount this and with these sturdy mounts they will last you a long time. I would highly recomend this mount for your sound bar needs. It can be a one person job and will take about 30 minutes to complete the task.

Packaging was basic and straight forward. Easy to find all material in package needed for mount. Instructions were straightforward and took less than a minute to understand. The hardware was good quality and not the cause for any concern. Installation took about five minutes and was easy for someone with minimal handyperson skills. Make sure you know what level is. The design of the mounts are minimalist and don’t impede any surroundings as they are really hidden well once mounted. I’ve had them up for a few weeks now and have zero complaints as they do what is advertised well. The sound bar I mounted was approximately 15-20 pounds and it seems that the mount would do more. In summary, this is wonderful for anyone that can use them and wants a minimalist looking set up. The unboxing was easy and understandable, Instructions were clear and well thought out, and inflation was quick and easy once you had the tools in hand for anyone from basic to expert knowledge. I would highly recommend this.

OK, where to start for something as simple as a soundbar wall-mount? Let em start with the brand... Insignia: Insignia is Best Buy's in-house brand. They are well known for providing good quality consumer grade products at competitive, or better, pricing. I have never been dissapointed in any experience with Insignia, and this product is no different. Overall build quality is excellent, as has come to be expected from Insignia. I would have no confidence issues using this product for any of my soundbars. It should have no problems supporting most any soundbar. Installation was, as expected, simple. I am not the handiest guy in the world, but for most anyone with the common understanding of using a level, a drill, and a screwdriver, mounting shioukld be no more than a few minute process. Once mounted, they not only supported the bar, but also almost naturally dissapeared, looking to be as much a apart of the soundbar as anything. End of the day, a great choice, regardless of the budget. This product will not dissapoint and will save you a few bucks too. I would reccomend to a friend.

This version of the Soundbar Mount holds soundbars up to 22 pounds(10kg). It is configured as a direct wall mount with the hardware provided. The back of the mount measures 2.36 inches(60mm) across and 2.44 inches(62mm) vertical. In the closed position the mount measures 4.41 inches(112mm) long. This mount will hold a soundbar up to 6.3 inches (160mm) in thickness and 4.13 inches (105mm) when fully closed. This kit includes anchors for concrete, stone and masonry (these anchors are not approved for sheetrock, and no sheetrock anchors are provided. The mounting plate has 2 angled slots to easily assist in leveling the brackets. Installation was easy following the provided instructions for each mounting type. The soundbar does not mount to the mounting plates, it sits on top of it. I used the mounting plates to install a soundbar on my camper. This allows me to secure the soundbar while towing the camper and just dropping it back in when setup is completed. The Insignia Fixed Soundbar meet my needs completely.
