The best way to add life to my new SSD boot disk. It came free in the SSD bundle at BestBuy. Easy to install it included all screws and even two (2) thermal heat transfer pads. The heat sink clamps over the SSD top and bottom. No problem plugging in the Drive or securing it to the motherboard. Running great.

Fit on my new 970 Pro EVO without any issue and installed on the board easily. Make sure you have your own motherboard-specific m.2 mounting screws, because neither the drive or the heatsink came with those screws. They're very small and replacements typically have to be ordered from the mobo manufacturer directly. I didnt measure drive temps prior to installing this so I cant say how effective at dispersing heat it actually is, but I bought it mostly to protect the drive from physical damage and help keep it cool.

A lifesaver. I had an SSD without a heatsink because I was planning to use the one that came with the motherboard. However, it was too bulky for the AIO. Installing this was so easy, and it keeps the temperature at good levels

Came bundled for free with a Crucial P5 2TB which I put into my PS5. It was a perfect fit. I mean, I think it was to the millimeter, but it did fit and seems to be working just fine. The assembly wasn’t too bad. Just follow the instructions carefully. It’s not fool-proof as you could stick the nvme drive too close or too far away from the heatsink edge. But I didn’t have a problem.

Easy to install. Fully compatible with the ps5 and a budget SSD nvme, Crucial P3 Plus. I'm not sure how well it rerains heat but the install was easy. 4 star because the heatsink is kinda pricey

Honestly, don’t second-guess this purchase, especially if you need more storage on your PlayStation 5. Just internal hard drive reads and writes PS5 games our playable from this SSD. Unlike some that only store and play PS4 content. Definitely a must buy!

Easy install on my SSD M.2 instructions are very clear and quality material! Take your time and make sure not to press very hard on thermal tape. Also make sure it’s line up correctly before adding side screws.

Picked up the heatsink as well as WD 4TB SSD... PS5 is now rocking it for now but makes you wonder how many single 150gb games can be installed ...it's CRAZY INSANE!!!!

Im using this currently on a 970 evo plus after I noticed temps were getting a little too high under sustained read/writes and so far this is doing a great job for a great price. The install was a breeze and fits in perfectly on my motherboard. 5/5

Before I got this heatsink I’ve read so many “pads are too thick” reviews that I didn’t think it will work with my SSD, but purchased it anyway. I’m glad that I did. The housing and pads are perfect fit for one sided chip SSDs like my spare Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB. I was also worried that the height of the enclosure might interfere with the gpu slot, but it fits just right as you can see (or not see because of the dual slot gpu on top of it) in the picture. Using this heatsink in Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 3 motherboard with the Samsung Evo Plus. Temps on temperature sensor 3 were reaching 100C during benchmark before the enclosure. Now the maximum never goes above 67C on sensor 3 and about 53C on the first two sensors. I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it for one sided chip SSDs.

[Employee of bestbuy] It seems like a no brainer that when incorporating components into a build (especially with storage) that you'd want them safe and secure, of course I hadn't done my research to properly check through what I needed so buying this later was better than never. I had a 970 EVO plus without a heatsink and this fit it perfectly, haven't had any issues with it since and the overall process to fit things in was easy and took no less than 5 minutes, would definitely recommend. Bought one separately for a friend for an WD SSD and that ultimately had no issues either.

easy to install. instructions could be a little more detailed. product works well. i bought 2 with the samsung 980 pro m.2 ssd because the one without a heat sink was on sale. saved approx 85$ two years in a row at black friday.
