The case didn’t affect the quality of the videos. If you’re doing under water activity like snorkeling, I think it’s worth buying. Pretty pricey for a case

The dive case gets 5 stars. Best Buy gets one star. So I'll put a 3, but this reflects only on the Best Buy purchasing experience. I wanted the newer version of a dive housing for my Insta 360 x3 for a trip to Grand Cayman and saw only one was in stock at a Best Buy one hour away from my house (Westminster store in Colorado). I got it off of the shelf and it was totally open. I asked at the cashier if this was considered "Open box" (no), and then wanted to make sure it appeared that all parts were in the box. We opened it and clearly one part was missing, but I suspected I could use an old Go-Pro part to do the same thing. (I did manage to come up with something at home...) I am now on my dive trip and realize that the desicant pieces are NOT Insta 360 desicant pieces. Someone replaced the Insta pieces for something else. And there could be other things missing too that I am not aware of. REALLY NOT cool for Best Buy to sell this incomplete box, and the sales woman was VERY dismissive of me at the cash register. I had driven one hour to pick it up the day before my trip since it was the only one in stock anywhere nearby, and chose to go home with it even though I saw it was opened. I'm going to see about returning it and having a new, complete Dive Housing box shipped to me once I'm home. And shame on the person who opened the box not only took the accessories that they wanted, but also who replaced things with the wrong products not meant for this dive housing. And points lost for Best Buy for not realizing this and selling me the open box at full price even when I asked. Photo at the store showing one obvious missing piece. Multiple other missing accessories are not obvious.

It works well and theres a setting on the insta360 x3 that is made to stitch out the case from showing in videos. The only down side is how heavy/bulky the camera is in the case which I guess is expected. I think the proce is steep for a waterproof case, but if you've got the money to blow, this is the case to get for weather proofing.

Great case and it serves its purpose. However, before I purchased it, I watched many videos on the case to make sure if it's worth it. While it does its job, you have to be REALLY careful you don't bump the case against any hard surface because it could leave permanent scratches and chips on the case, which will make your footage useless. As for the price, I think it should be priced at 69.99, but the price is what the price is.

I recently bought the Insta360 X3 Invisible Dive Case, expecting it to enhance my underwater and above-water filming experiences. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations for a few reasons: Distortion Issues: Even with dive mode activated, the case added noticeable distortion to the footage when used above water. This was a major letdown, especially since I anticipated the brand's software would correct these flaws effectively. Sadly, it didn't make much of a difference. Software Correction Ineffective: Despite Insta360's reputation for powerful software enhancements, the corrections applied to the footage captured with this case didn't improve the quality as much as I had hoped. Smudge-Prone Surface: The case attracts fingerprints and smudges, requiring constant cleaning. This was inconvenient and took away from the time I could spend capturing and enjoying my footage.

The invisible dive case is an improvement over the original case and other non Insta360 in regards to the stitching of the 360 video. It allows for a non compromised view of your entire surroundings without any strange warped or distorted images. The biggest issue is how easily it picks up scratches. The polycarbonate material it's made of is strong but easily scratched. Considering the price, I don't consider this a good bargain given what it's made out of. You'll need to replace this housing at least every year with regular usage.

Easy to use. Got chipped and scratched a bit while snorkeling in Antigua. Went snorkeling 2x after that incident and the chips and scratches weren’t significant enough to be seen in the footage. Great purchase

Scratches very easily, is expensive, and too bulky compared to other camera dive cases

I used it in a reef in Mahogany Bay, Roatán, Honduras and it worked great. Got some great underwater video.
