Item came in a box that was badly damaged resulting in the item being scratched in a few places. I don't feel like this was damage caused by shipping but by the warehouse where it was stored. Item works as expected with damage from shipping. When I place the lid in the slots when I open it, then try to lift the lid from the side slots, it catches on the metal rim of the instant pot (not the insert). I'm afraid it's going to crack. It is now scratched on that part of the lid. I have to be careful when I lift it. The cap for the steam is meant to reduce noise and limit it's effects of steam shooting up. It is still noisy and the steam still raises and reaches the ceiling. It's smaller in size on the outside from my previous instant pot duo but same size on the inside. Despite all the scratches, I still think it's a solid device that should last me as long as the previous one.

This Instant Pot is a game changer, especially for a family. The 8-quart size is perfect for larger meals and leftovers. It’s easy to use, heats up quickly, and cooks food evenly. I love how versatile it is. I can make everything from soups to meats without spending all day in the kitchen. Cleanup is simple, and the build feels sturdy and well made. This has definitely made meal prep easier and faster, and I’m really glad I went with this size.

Very good product. Capicity is large enough to serve 6-8 persons comfortably.. the buttons are easy to use. Keep warm and other features are very handy..

The pressure cooker is working very well. It's such an easy way cook and we are excited to try out the many other functions on the cooker.

I ordered a BRAND NEW Instant Pot Pro 8 Quart Electric Pressure Cooker (black) from Best Buy on 03/16/24. I performed the water test Saturday (04/06/24) for the 1st time. I didn't cook with it prior to that. It failed the water test and the 'Cancel' button didn't work. The 'Cancel' button would not shut the Instant Pot Pro off. I had to shut it off by removing the plug from the outlet. I also found a crack on the condensation rim. I'm very upset. I paid a lot of money for a new Instant Pot Pro. The Instant Pot Pro was shipped in a regular cardboard box. There was no manufacturer's packaging. I found out that Best Buy doesn't ship their products inside of cardboard boxes. Best Buy ships their products off the shelf in the manufacturer's packaging (everyone can see what you bought when it's delivered). There was no Instant Pot Pro manufacturer's box with branding. I believe I was shipped a used and damaged one. I'm not blaming Instant Pot, because I know people who own one and rave about it and say it's a time saver. That's why I bought one. I can't recommend buying this, because I was sold a damaged Instant Pot.

I love the Instant Pot with pressure cooker features. This is the most versatile piece of kitchen equipment I own. Highly recommended and the size is perfect for larger or smaller portions.

Great Pressure Cooker! We had a smaller size before and this is a game changer. Big enough for parties, but small enough to fit into my kitchen cabinets. Works great - tons of different ways to cook and the recipes online are amazing! I do like the digital read-out - easy to maneuver. I would highly recommend this Instant Pot!!

I love this Instant Pot. The size is great! I have not had one before but gave it a try after the old crock pot broke...I love it and have not missed the crock pot at all! Just follow the directions and everything turns out great!

With complete honesty, I have to say that it’s a little odd and strange and a little getting used to since it’s new, but I have to say it works really great. I’m kind of blown away on how it has so many options and it does so many things. The fact that you can literally cook a whole meal in this. It seems to be built well, and I don’t see any flaws. Pretty simple to use. I am still experimenting and trying to figure out all that ins and outs, but I can honestly say that it’s really great and I believe it’s worth the money,,, specially, since I got it on sale. Hahaha . All I know I think it’s really great. I love everything about it and if you’re thinking about picking one of these up, I would say go for it. They work really well and I’m pretty sure you’ll really enjoy it.

Not my first pressure cooker. The stainless pot is amazing to start with. Think this stands above all other units for its quality and flexibility. Very easy to use, nice functionality. Size is good to, fits a nice size pork butt. Solid unit and easy to use

Love it, I didn't realize how quiet this instant pot is while getting up to pressure and cooking. My instant pot duo evo plus was old and just stopped working. I would recommend instant pot to anyone, they last a really long time, and everything just comes out perfect every time.
