I had this installed in my 2006 Tacoma. My truck didn't come with an Aux or USB port, but then I upgraded stereos I had this flush mounted. Looks great, and factory in my opinion.

Adapter cable kit from aux input size bananna to dual RCA. This kit was just right for my application. Had an extension cable included which allowed me to plug in at least 6' away. Down to 4 stars only because I felt it a bit pricey, but was of good quality and saved me from buying an additional extension.

Allows for multiple inputs for stereo. Lots of wire for connections.

Needed to extend the audio from my laptop to my Soundbar. Had something similar already but the contacts in the female couple had gone bad and audio cut in and out when the cable got moved around. New one works, no problem so I am satisfied.

I was only planning on having Best Buy install an aftermarket ipod hookup i had brought from another merchant. The installer suggested that i purchase this input kit because it would be easier for me to change cords in the off chance one fails on me. i enjoy the discrete location of it (inside my center console) and i know if my aux cord ever breaks or has a short i can swap it out with ease; well worth the extra $20.

First, Best Buy is the place to get anything for tech. And that includes this hard to find aux cord pack. Looked at other big box retailers and no luck even with their warehouse inventory. BB had it for pickup the next day 15 mins down the road. The kit was what I needed with the bonus of the rca adapter. I haven’t updated all of my tech just yet, but I still want to use what I have. It was perfect for my application and the sound quality was not diluted at all. I think it’s a sound buy. ;-)

Super simple to install. Don’t remember the diameter of the bit I used, but I used calipers to get the diameter of the thickness of it between the backing plate and the “rib” and went up 1/16” to get the bit size. Hardest part of the install was determining the location to put it and make sure there was space behind it to accommodate the body of the jack. Haven’t had to use any glue to keep it in place. Works as described so far.

My SUV does not have an aux port nor a USB port. But it does have the red/white/yellow ports in the console part of the 2nd row. I was able to use this kit to connect an aux cord to another cord that has the red/white/yellow plugs I needed and play music in my car from my phone using the aux cord. Soooo glad I found this. Didn't want to buy a new dash deck due to fact I would have lost the navigation system in my car since it is all connected. This kit came with everything (both of the cords) I needed in order to play my iPhone over my car speakers.

Got a new XM radio and had Best buy guys hook it up. Sweet music to my ears. The two techs in Pineville store were awesome. They fit me right in, I mean at that moment. Hooked up my new tunes and I was on my way.

We have an old Yamaha receiver in our garage that powers the surround speakers in our garage entertainment center and two outside speakers on our deck by our hot tub. My son wanted to listen to music from his phone while he was in the spa so we bought this. We plugged it into the Auxiliary inputs and hooked up his phone. It works great. Perfect problem solver for old receivers without a mini plug input.
