Customer Ratings & Reviews

I honestly couldn’t be happier with my JBL Charge 6. I bought it in red, and it looks amazing — bold, clean, and durable, not flashy in a cheap way. Right out of the box it felt solid and well built, like a speaker that’s actually meant to be taken everywhere. What really impressed me is the sound for its size. The Charge 6 delivers powerful, clear audio with strong bass that you wouldn’t expect from something this compact. It easily fills a room and performs just as well outdoors. No distortion, no weak mids — just full, punchy sound that makes music feel alive. The battery life is incredible. I can use it all day without worrying about charging, which makes it perfect for trips, long hangouts, or just constant daily use. Being able to rely on it without constantly checking battery percentage is a huge plus. Durability is another big reason I love this speaker. It feels rugged and dependable, and I’m comfortable bringing it anywhere — whether that’s outside, traveling, or just tossing it in a bag. It’s clearly designed to handle real use, not just sit on a shelf. Overall, the JBL Charge 6 is the perfect balance of size, power, battery life, and durability. It’s easily one of the best portable speakers I’ve owned, and it has become my go-to speaker for everything. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for big sound in a portable, reliable package.

Great sound, great bass, gets pretty loud. At full volume lasts a good 6 hours. I use it for work and accidentally dropped it, besides splitting at the bottom and a few scuffs, a simple pop back and it was as good as new. Pretty fast charging. Great water resistance, no worries of leaving it outside in the rain. Connects instantly, no waiting for Bluetooth to take a year to pair.

I've had the Charge 6 for a couple weeks now, and have put it through my lifestyle with amazing results. The speaker is loud and clear, not distorted at full volume like many others I've had in the past. The charge it holds is long enough for an entire shift of work at full volume, and still has half a battery left. The JBL app make the experience even more personal and fulfilling. I'm able to monitor the charge the battery has, as well as change and custom set the equalizer. I work in an environment with high humidity and lots of water splash hazards. It's held up to the ratings of water resistant with flying colors! Speaking of colors! There was an amazing selection of colors available to choose from, however I went with the black model. It's sleek and professional looking with that look of sophistication and touch of sultry red to accent. Durability of the product has also been put to the test. I work in a factory setting, with my speaker moving throughout the day. It's endured drops, bumps and spills and not been for the worse. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably affordable Bluetooth speaker with exceptional sound quality. I've been loyal to the Harmon product line for over a decade. I was introduced to the product line as a service repair representative with a Sprint phone repair location, well over a decade ago. But my affinity for the brand hasn't faultered or waivered.

I thought since the jump from the Charge 4 to the Charge 5 was so great that JBL wouldnt be able to make the jump again; thought thats why they kept postponing the Charge 6, but wow was I wrong. The Charge 6 might have a quarter more bass, volume, everything, even battery life is better. This is a true portable boom box, makes my shower shake. The handle is nice too, allows you to easily transport it and carry other things in the same hand (if you can do that). The only con is no charger included but I guess thats the futute now…all type c charging in the back, no more usb a at all. Overall, definelty worth the price, hoping to see a price drop in the future, but the technology is definetly there forsure.

The JBL Charge 6 is an impressive portable speaker that delivers powerful sound and excellent battery life. The audio quality is clear and well-balanced, with deep bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and highs, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. One of its standout features is the long-lasting battery, which easily provides hours of continuous playback. The ability to charge other devices using the built-in power bank is also a very convenient bonus. The design feels rugged and durable, with a waterproof build that makes it ideal for trips, poolside use, or even beach outings. Despite its compact size, it produces surprisingly loud and rich sound. Overall, the JBL Charge 6 is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality portable speaker with strong performance and practical features.

This JBL speaker delivers powerful and clear sound with impressive bass for its size. The battery lasts a long time, and Bluetooth connects quickly without any issues. It’s portable, durable, and perfect for indoor or outdoor use. I definitely recommend it!

Ive had the charge 4 and 5 but once the 6 came out i knew i had to get it too. The sound quality on the charge 6 is really good ! At high volume the music doesnt sound distorted in any way ! And the app that you can download to control the sound of the speaker just makes it even better !! I downloaded the app and messed around with the sound and let me tell you it didnt disappoint ! I barely had the volume up on my phone and the speaker was already loud !! Now im actually thinking about buying another one just connect both of them together !!! Dont hesitate to buy it ! The colors on these speakers are awesome too !! Had to get a purple one just to get something different other than black hahaha but it was worth it !!

The JBL Charge 6 does not disappoint. The sound is clear, rich, and surprisingly powerful for its size. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and perfect for everyday use whether I’m cleaning, relaxing, or just want music flowing through the house. Pairing it with my other JBL speaker was incredibly easy. The connection is seamless, and having synced sound on multiple levels of my home has been a game changer. Excellent sound, easy setup, and very portable. I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

We loved the JBL Charge 6 so much, we went and bought another one. The ability to link both speakers together is amazing, and that creates sound quality that is so satisfying to your ears. If you like to listen to your music at a lower volume or a higher volume level, the quality is better than any brand out there. The range of these speakers is outstanding, you would not imagine getting the full spectrum of low's high's or the mid's from this size speaker. JBL never disappoints me in any of their offerings!! Enjoy ...

I like how I can take this speaker anywhere and I mean anywhere even the Bath! And the Bass is great and fun to mess with. Also didn’t notice it was made to handle impacts as well, great Plus +

I like the reliability of the very good sound, and now it has better battery life, 8 hours longer than the previous one. I've always liked it for its design and portability.

Sounds good and the battery last long is light to carry small to put an any place

I have to start saying I own the 4RED,5CAMO and now the 6WHITE version JBL CHARGE speaker.Im a fan of JBL.I was waiting for a good discount and got it the week before with the Black Friday discount.I have to say that I really love the design and color and the new strap. The sound is more crispy compare to the 5 BUT, don’t get confused, the 5 is really good IMO with a little more bass than the 6,and can raise the volume higher with no distortion but the 6 at high volume doesn’t sound very good.Everyone has different opinions and I’ve been reading hundreds of reviews.I don’t know how people say they can get the whole day playing music without the battery dying completely, this is one is the same than the 5 with battery life,if you get 5 to 6 hours playing music between 50 and 80% you are very lucky.I don’t know if all the 6 are made in China but mine it’s,different from the 5 made in Vietnam. You have more options to equalize the sound trough the JBL APP and so far the connection is great.Quality is superior and love the little exterior details. This one is staying inside the house and not going to the beach or my balcony or swimming pool like the 5 does,so I can keep it clean and white. If you have the 5 and have some money to spend in Black Friday go get it,it won’t disappoint you,but if you would want a pair to connect each other I’ll go for the 5 I think, and you know, everyone’s opinion is different. Thanks JBL for these little beautiful gifts,I really enjoy playing music on my JBL toys..!!!

Love my speaker, I can go through my 12 hour shift without having to charge it, great sound I must add, plus I can connect it to other JBL speakers with the aura cast feature, I pair it with a JBL clip 5. I’m a crane operator and my crane is always bumping with tunes, buying a second one for sure.

In a small ro medium sized room, this speaker kicks! The bass is well tuned for the mids and highs. Outside, this speaker still gets pretty loud, although the bass lacks a punch due to its physical size. The battery life is great! After a few nights of playing it, the battery was still held a good charge. The output charging is a neat feature, even if it's not super fast. When you're in a pinch and aren't near a charging socket, this comes in pretty clutch. This speaker is worth it at full price and even better when it's on sale!

Great sound, great bass, long battery. And love to play it with my xtreme 4 to get better surround sound. Bt 5.4 upgrade, this does not cut out with other signals in the house like my xtreme 4 does

If you’re looking for a portable speaker that delivers extreme durability, long battery life, and top-tier sound with rich bass, this is a clear winner. It’s worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants high-quality audio on the go

This JBL speaker is awesome and very easy to use, Bluetooth connection sounds great. I use it while riding my scooter It fits perfectly in my storage pouch.

Absolutely love it, have been using it every day for the last couple of weeks, compared to the Xtreme 2 and Flip 5, the charge 6 just have the best quality, battery life and perfect size for me personally - small or big rooms, it works perfectly.

I work with my crew building new homes. With the JBL speaker I can play our favorite tunes while at 50% volume for the whole day. Nice clear sound! Everyone can vibe out while getting the job done. The only dislike is the battery life and bass. Bass could be better but it’s decent. I like to play my music full blast and when I do the battery life is no more than 1 and 40 minutes. I know the more volume more power but it could be a little longer.
