Jesika Von Rabbit - Dessert Rock - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2018 solo from Jesika Von Rabbit, the former leader of Joshua Tree's hi-desert trailblazers, Gram Rabbit. Dessert Rock is her second solo album and the follow-up to her 2015 Journey Mitchell. While Journey Mitchell is laden with new wave-influenced synths, keyboard melodic and infectious dance beats, Dessert Rock is an avalanche of appetizing amalgams that incorporate hints of calypso, sci-fi, psychedelic, rock, electro and funk. You are going to want seconds after sampling this dessert! Jesika Von Rabbit's current band line-up includes former Gram Rabbit guitarist and independent producer Ethan Allen, Dionysus Records' Lee Joseph on bass, and drummer, Dan Kashuck. Dubbed InchThe Queen of the Hi-DesertInch, Von Rabbit has a menu item named after her at the world renown Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown, CA - the delicious InchNachos von RabbitInch. In spring of 2018, Von Rabbit once again won Best Front Woman of the Coachella Valley at the Coachella Valley Weekly Music Awards. She is drop dead gorgeous and has an absolutely incredible voice. But Von Rabbit is more than a pretty chick singer. She is an innovative creator and expressionist as well as one hell of an entertainer. Album Tracks 1. Calypso Facto 2. Palm Springs Livin' 3.
