Does what is supposed to do. No difference in sound quality compared to hardwiring subwoofer. It helps alot to find the perfect position for your subwoofer.

This is the first time applying a wireless link to my subwoofer in my home audio setup. For practical purposes, i have my receiver in the basement and was concerned whether it would connect, but it did. Now, I have flexibility in placing the subwoofer based on the room arrangement.

Does not work with kc62. Do not buy for the kc62. I have received a second kw1 from kef. It does not work. It will randomly disconnect for no reason and refuse to kick the sub back on. It doesn't matter what cords, what distance, or what settings are used. Kef should not be selling this product. Do a little googling and there are forums full of people complaining about this, some even suggesting a class action lawsuit.

Bought as open box item. The RCA cables that should have been included were not in the box when I received it. Last year, I bought some expensive speaker stands from Best Buy that were shipped without the assembly hardware. Both times, the aggravation associated with receiving an incomplete item was compounded by Best Buy's half-assed support in getting the issue resolved.
