Kid Kapichi - There Goes The Neighbourhood - Lemon Yellow - VINYL LP

Neon Pink. Kid Kapichi's third studio album, There Goes The Neighbourhood, was produced by Dom Craik from UK chart-toppers Nothing But Thieves. The 11 signature tracks about misspent youth and nights out in small towns, are songs you can protest or party to in equal measure. The Hastings quartet are determined to hold tight to their homegrown values and beliefs, and to take their songs of working-class pride to the broadest possible audience. The album is one where snarling razor-sharp lyrics are generally balanced out by a cheeky wink and the turn of a Crombie-d collar. Album Tracks 1. Artillery 2. Let's Get to Work 3. Tamagotchi 4. Can Eu Hear Me? 5. Get Down 6. 999 7. Subaru 8. Zombie Nation 9. Angeline 10. Oliver Twist 11. Jimi

For anybody familiar Kid Kapichi's teeth-gnashing, blood-dripping punk snarl, the title of band's fourth album, Fearless Nature, should come as no surprise. An album riven with moments of self-doubt, it was made by a band that has grown bold enough to show the bullet holes in their armor after years on the frontline. Fearless Nature stands at the intersection of two member line-ups; the songs were written, recorded and produced with the original line-up (guitarist Ben Beetham and drummer George Macdonald announced they were leaving the band amicably in May 2025), but are now set to be taken on the road with the new guitarist Lee Martin and drummer Miles Gill. The band's political message remains undimmed, but Fearless Nature expands their repertoire allowing an emotional complexity into their lyrical perspective that is a major step forward, and the benefits are there for all to draw strength from. Album Tracks 1. Leader of the Free World 2. Intervention 3. Shoe Size 4. Stainless Steel 5. Worst Kept Secret 6. Dark Days Are Coming 7. Patience 8. If You've Got Legs 9. Head Right 10. Saviour 11. Rabbit Hole

Vinyl LP pressing. Kid Kapichi explore racism, in-work poverty, mental health, violence, frustration and all-consuming love with honesty and humor. Their songs come studded with barbed wire hooks, bristling with the juddering shock of lived experience, the cathartic thrill of a balled-up fist relaxing into an air punch. These 11 new songs are an excellent showcase for the band's bigger, punchier, Inchbeat-punkInch sound. Produced by Dom Craik from Nothing But Thieves. Album Tracks 1. New England 2.
