KitchenAid built-in microwave: Convection and Crispwave technologies let you grill, fry and bake meals your family will love right in your microwave. The 1600W of convection power and 900W of microwave power allow you to make a wide variety of dishes.
Q: what is the electrical requirement? 220v or 110v?
A: WRONG! It requires a 240 circuit. We had to return it because this is very non standard. No one has ever seen a microwave that requires a 240/220 circuit.
Q: How do I turn off the Demo Mode?
A: 1. Touch CLOCK/TOOLS. The oven display will scroll through the various options. You can also touch the Clock/Tools keypad repeatedly to manually scroll through the list of options. 2. Touch the number keypad for the specific option to toggle the function setup. Use the following chart as a guide. You can toggle the option on and off with the steps above.
Q: Does the microwave have a vent underneath for venting heat/steam from the stove below?
A: Hello, model KMBP100ESS is built in so it does not have a vent fan. Thank you for your inquiry about our KitchenAid appliances.
Q: does this michowave have an under exaust?
A: Hello! Please see the link for the proper installation for this model bit.ly/3UB6bvE
Q: Is this built-in microwave made in the USA?
A: Hi JandR, we understand the importance to our customers of purchasing products made in the U.S. KitchenAid Corporation currently has 9 manufacturing locations across the United States, and 80% of the products that sell in the U.S. are manufactured here in the U.S.
A: Hello bcsrunner. Unfortunately, the only dimensions we are able to share is what is in the installation and owner's guides. We apologize for any frustrations this may cause.
Q: I cannot tell if KMBP100ESS is in stock ready to ship or not, please advise. Thanks
A: Don't rely on answers about availability that you may receive from Best Buy. We ordered our KitchenAid Microwave In the middle of July last year and shortly before our install date we were informed that it would be moved to December; just prior to the new date, we were informed that it was going to be later but they didn't know when... and, of course, afterward they informed us that we will be receiving it in May. I have the sinking feeling that we're never going to see this pricey microwave. It feels as though "you don't get what you pay for." Don't plan on the delivery (or pick up) date because they have explained to me several times now that the problem is not their fault...rather it's the fault of the supply chain. Also, they no waiting list to receive a notification to reschedule a sooner date, if and when the KMBP100EBS becomes available, meaning that others may be receiving theirs before we will get ours, even if I were to have time to call every day. Even though it's been almost many months. I see reviews from installs from only a week or two ago--that means somebody else had theirs installed before we did and I have no way to know if they ordered before we did or not. One person mentioned a 10 week wait and I have been waiting since July. I imagine they may have contractors who purchase appliances regularly to whom they will give preference on the more scarce items. We are trying to remain optimistic but it's beginning to be very difficult... I can still imagine how happy I will feel when my new microwave is in place. Another thing that's worrying me is that recent reviews say that there is an error called DOOR which is why we are replacing the one we had in the same spot with the same KitchenAid convection broiler microwave. I loved that oven but it's beginning to feel as though I should just figure out another way to fit something in that space in the wall. So disappointed. Meantime, we are working out of a countertop hand-me-down micro for now. I sure wish Best Buy would show me (a loyal customer for so many years) some love.
Q: How do I set 50% power on the Kitchenaid Superba microwave oven?

Works great and matches the rest of our kitchen aid appliances. One thing I can’t figure out sometimes when you run the convec oven the setting of the oven doesn’t stay consistent.

Beautiful microwave. Cost is high, but looks beautiful with oven. Heats evenly. Pleased with unit so far.

Nice unit. Had to run direct 240V line that I was not expecting to do. Door would not open without using spacer kit.
