We really like this cooktop. It replaced an old Wolf cooktop. It took some cutting in our granite countertop to get it to fit, but it was worth it. My only complaint is that the letters and markings around each of the control knobs are extremely faint. Depending on the time of day they are almost impossible to read. The pictures of this cooktop on the KA site show them as dark black, but that was not the case with ours. We had a KA technician take a look and he even ordered a replacement top plate, but the printing was equally faint on it. You figure out the orientation of the knobs quickly enough, but its a bit disappointing in an otherwise well made (and not inexpensive) cooktop to have the lettering unreadable. In terms of cooking, though, we couldn't be happier.

We just had our 36" KitchenAid gas cook top installed with the LP converter kit since we use propane. The unit is beautiful and so far cooking with it is a delight. The set-up directions were not the easiest to follow and I've contacted Best Buy with a question about the "torch" burner on the lower right. It is supposed to function as a dual burner, but does not appear to be working that way. Other than that question, I am thrilled. Note: Purchased this and a range hood on 5/16/20, but due to delays in our kitchen remodel, we just had the cook top installed today. Also, rating the ease of use a 4 out of 5 because the labels by the control knobs are faint and not the easiest to read. LOL...backsplash still needs to be completed in kitchen!

This cooktop looks very modern, has five burners in different sizes. Love the dual feature that you can reduce heat from really high to simmer on the same burner.

This cooktop is built to accommodate cooks of every description, large or small. Whether you're heating a pot of water for pasta or simmering chocolate over a low flame, you'll find the setting you need. You can do both and more with the five burners and optional griddle. The necks of the control knobs light up when the burners are on, a nice safety feature.

Best cooktop. Heats up fast and has double flame controls on two burners. Super nice for cooking vegetables and frying bacon. I keep it on the lowest setting to cook slow and not to burn anything. Plenty of flame power if you need it. Totally was worth paying more for the dual flames. Nice cooking. You will love it.

I spent a long time researching products for my new kitchen. I wanted a feature rich high end product and had narrowed the range down between kitchen aide and Samsung but after having both my Samsung washing machine and phone recalled in the past year (and the horrible experience trying to get the recall handled) I decided to go with kitchen aide. I am glad I did! It is a great product that cooks and looks amazing. I love the even heat and power burn. I love that grate goes from end to end. The griddle could be bigger and machine washable for improvements. The only negative I can find with it so far was the LP conversion manual. Nothing matched the product I had purchased, but my gas tech and myself worked through it and got it running. Also be prepared for frustration from installer if they have large hands for the power and even heat conversion portion. Kitchen Aide is my new goto product, maybe not as many cutting edge features as Samsung but they seem to be a better company and know how to build a solid well working product that looks great.

This is one of the best looking cooktops in its price range and the solid metal knobs elevate it above other brands. There is no problem getting it hot, but it can be difficult to get lower temps for things like simmering smaller pots. Some burners can have the low flame adjusted which helps and it comes with a melt burner cover thst does a pretty good job of keeping the temp lower.
Phenomenal product! And what a deal I got going to the outlet! All the parts were there and it worked perfectly. Had zero problems setting it up. Looking forward to years of cooking. Thank you so much!

We replaced a 30 inch electric cooktop with this and have been very pleased. We have not fully utilized all of the features and capabilities yet, such as the griddle, and still looking forward to wok cooking on the center burner. Very happy with the flexibility this cooktop offers and the more precise control of the heat. We had looked at different stores, but Best Buy offered same or better pricing, and more importantly was able to provide the product quickly when others were guessing at 8 plus weeks for delivery.

Artistically styled. Cooks with accurate heating and is easy to clean. Cooktop is far superior to the 11 year old GE that it replaced.

The light up knobs are great. The grates are sturdy. Easy to clean and great to cook on.

The cooktop is much better than the one we had before…36” vs 30” makes big difference when using 3 or 4 burners at once.

Looks great! A little difficult to install. Due to location of the regulator, had to make some small adjustments to the existing cut-out and granite counter top. Also, there is no gasket between the cooktop and the countertop found on most other cooktops. More important, however, is there are (in my opinion), 2 major design issues: 1). It is nearly, and I do mean nearly, impossible to read the lettering for the burners. 2). The grates are too high and the distance between the flame and the bottom of the pot/pan increases cooking time. Additionally, this distance allows a significant amount of heat to radiate from the space between the burners and pot/pan. Pots on adjacent burners can get extremely hot. I burned my hand on the handle of a pot.

I searched and searched for a reasonably priced, quality KitchenAid cooktop with clean lines and great performance! This is it! I love the lighted knobs that let you know if you've left something on! It has exceeded my expectations so far!

Initially was hesitant to purchase because of the price, but happy we did. Looks beautiful in our new kitchen and is so easy to cook on. An added safety bonus is the lit up knobs to show the burner is on/in use.

Beautiful and very powerful. My complaints: knobs feel a little bit flimsy. Central burner makes low popping noice on medium and low settings. Best Buy pricing and service is excellent!

This rangetop isn’t a marked improvement over earlier models- Pluses: 1) more versatile burners With a ‘ melt ‘ option 2) 2 double burners 3) higher grate and better spaced to accommodate multiple pots/pans 4) smooth surface which cleans easier and insignias now imprinted into surface as opposed to attachedcrubber based decal 5) lit dials are added safety feature Minuses 1) to accommodate the multiple pans they’ve moved the dials back but insufficient for the front burner overhangs a bit Overall well thought out
