Klangkollektiv Wien Ballot - Eroica / Egmont Overture - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The ensemble KLANGKOLLEKTIV WIEN as newly founded orchestral body in the Austrian cultural landscape has already with their first Schubert recording (Gramola 99180) met with an enthusiastic audience. The unique approach of the musicians with conductor and Inchsound designerInch Rémy Ballot to get to the bottom of the works of Viennese classical music and to reveal their inner logic, leads to a new understanding of orchestra. Gramola now publishes a concert recording of the InchVorstadt premiereInch in Vienna's Penzing district with Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 InchEroicaInch as well as the Egmont Overture for the Beethoven year 2020 (250th anniversary of his birth). Following their self-conception KLANGKOLLEKTIV WIEN interprets these works in the slim and transparent original cast of the premiere with only six first violins, thus opening an acoustic reminiscence of the year 1804. Album Tracks 1. Symphony No. 3 in E-Flat Major, Op. 55 InchEroicaInch 2. Egmont Overture, Op. 84 (From 'Schauspielmusik Zu EgmontInch

Klangkollektiv Wien - Quartette - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The repertoire of KLANGKOLLEKTIV WIEN with it's conductor Rémy Ballot is focused on a core of famous and lesser-known works of the First Viennese School. This live recording presents the two late String Quartets No. 14 in C-sharp minor Op. 131 and No. 16 in F major Op. 135 by Ludwig van Beethoven in a version for string orchestra. The working title of this concert InchMusic from a Place of Inner SilenceInch refers to the fact that Beethoven had presumably completely lost his hearing by the time of composition of these works - he appears to have been turning more and more to an inner, spiritual world. Thus, these two great quartets encompass in their musical substance all possible moods and states of the soul and our being and were not only considered avant-garde at the time, but in many ways pre-shadow the daring of the Second Viennese School and the innovations of the Béla Bartók string quartets. This effect is significantly augmented by the expansion of the ensemble from the original four to 16 musicians. Album Tracks 1. Streichquartett NR. 16 F-Dur Op. 135 2. Streichquartett NR. 14 Cis-Moll Op. 131
