Very good, steelbook did not come damaged. Good 4k release

Waited a long time for this 4k iteration to come about and it only takes it to another level the spectacular & beautiful cinematography used to make this historic classic! It was meant for me to have this much sought after steelcase copy as there was just 1 available at the Best Buy I visited...

The 60th Anniversary 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of "Lawrence of Arabia" is an absolute triumph, representing the pinnacle of film restoration and home video presentation. While this classic film has undergone previous restorations and even a 4K release, this latest version stands head and shoulders above the rest. The image quality has been meticulously refined, resulting in slightly less graininess, sharper details, and beautifully rich and deep colors that avoid any over-saturation. The upgrade to Dolby Atmos audio is the cherry on top, with the expanded channel layout, especially in the height dimension, adding an immersive quality that truly does justice to the film's epic scale. Dialogue is crisp and prominently placed, while ambient sounds envelop the viewer, creating a cinematic experience that is second to none. AMAZING!! I can’t begin to explain why this 4K transfer is worth an upgrade from my Blu-ray version. The sound the visual upgrades are outstanding and worth every Penny. I can see why all of the movie critics agree that this is a MUST HAVE

This movie has the 4k Blu Ray collectors going crazy, and for no poor reason. It's quite possibly the best transfer of a shot-on-film movie ever. Absolutely worth it, if you can find it that is.

Perfect film, great release/scan. It comes with a digital code. It's been very difficult to get this without paying scalper prices, so if you are iffy on this, just buy it. When it is actually in stock, that is.

Gorgeous artwork, and a stunning 4k transfer. The soundtrack is remastered for Dolby atmos. If you're into classic movies this is a great buy.

The Steelbook itself is ever beautiful, however the transfer on this movie is amazing. It’s obvious Sony put a lot of effort here to make the restoration great.

Another great 4K Steelbook release by Sony! Lawrence of Arabia finally makes its way to the 4K UHD format in this 60th Anniversary edition! The movie and sound are really good on the 4K TV and Sony player. Good menus, easy selections. 4-disc set! Feature disc 1 (4K) Feature disc 2 (4K) Feature disc 1 (Blu-ray) Special Features disc 2 (Blu-ray) Artwork is well done on the front and back plus we have different artwork on each of the four discs. Discs are not stacked on top of each other. We have a disc divider that houses 2 in the middle that you flip over. Digital copy is included. *As with the Bridge on the River Kwai steelbook, we have no artwork on the inside itself, rather a subdued pinkish color as a background to the discs. If you like or love this movie, I highly recommend you get this edition soon before it goes out of print!

Lawrence of Arabia! This film is truly an amazing classic! Very entertaining. In regards to the Blu-Ray, this is a must have to add to your collection! Even if you haven't seen this film before, it is worth the purchase. It is not just the film that is great, but the amazing picture and sound quality is what makes it even better! The audio is clear and works very well on my 5.1 Surround Sound system. Plenty of bass on the subwoofer throughout the film, just like other action films played on a surround system. What I would like to point out as well is the detail in sound. Without spoilers or mentioning a particular scene, a piece in the soundtrack provides a reverb effect, and it sounds as if you are sitting in a live concert hall watching the orchestra perform this wonderful musical composition. I have never noticed that until watching this film on the Blu-Ray format (whether using the surround sound system or not). Overall, along with timeless classics such as The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur, Quo Vadis, The Wizard of Oz and many more, this film is worth seeing on Blu-Ray. This is one of the best classic films I have seen on Blu-Ray format.
