About this product
Double vinyl LP pressing of this 2009 . Legion of Two is a new project from Alan O'Boyle and David Lacey. It pits electronics against live drums and percussion for a dark, dense, and noisy dirge. Huge bass lines, slow, pounding rhythms, and feedback dominate. Industrial, dub, and metal influences are shredded through old guitar pedals and cheap reverbs and reassembled into a driving and melodic force. Album Tracks 1. (Intro) Starbound 2. And Now We Wait 3. Palace (Dub) 4. Legion of Two 5. Turning Point 6. (Interlude) ABC 7. Handling Noise 8. It Really Does Take Time 9. Cast Out Your Demons

If Deicide's first album defined death metal, their second album supercharged it. Impossibly fast tempos, head-spinning arrangements, just plain evil guitar tones... when somebody like bassist and vocalist Glen Benton labels an album Inch*kin' over the top,Inch you know where you're headed (if you said hell you're getting warm) when you insert the needle into this Legion's vinyl vein. As always with this band, holding the barely controlled chaos together is drummer Steve Asheim, whose double kick BPM approaches 4 digits amidst guitar squalls from the Hoffman brothers. The material on Legion has stood the test of time, too, with InchTrifixionInch and InchDead but DreamingInch enduring fan favorites. Indeed, Legion (which, along with their self-titled debut, is one of the best-selling death metal records ever) is reckoned by many to be Deicide's best album; it's certainly their most brutal. Remastered for the and pressed in metallic Inchrainbow infernoInch vinyl, complete with a highly flammable lyric insert. Album Tracks 1. Satan Spawn, the Caco-Daemon 2. Dead But Dreaming 3. Repent to Die 4. Trifixion 5. Behead the Prophet (No Lord Shall Live) 6. Holy Deception 7. In Hell I Burn 8. Revocate the Agitator
