I appreciate practical value over flashy features. This Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 in Abyss Blue serves as an excellent, reliable daily driver that punches above its price tag. Design: Lightweight, portable, and looks sharp, though the plastic body has minor flex. Display & Keyboard: Crisp 15.6" Full HD screen, though viewing angles are average. The keyboard is exceptional and highly comfortable for typing. Performance: The AMD Ryzen 5 processor handles dozens of browser tabs and spreadsheets effortlessly. Windows 11: OS navigation, boot times, and multitasking feel are fluid, thanks to the SSD optimization. Webcam: The built-in camera is adequate for standard video calls and Zoom meetings, though video quality gets grainy in low-light settings. Storage & Battery: The 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD are fast enough for casual use but best suited for general tasks rather than heavy media storage. Battery life averages a decent 5–6 hours. Pros - versatile for MS and Chromebooks. Able to download variety of apps so usable for school and home. OS is Microsoft and is familiar. Games are working well. Downloads and playing the games is good. Likes the screen, good size and easy to read, nice size for laptop, easy to carry around. Great price over Memorial Day weekend. Able to purchase accessories and 3 year warranty and still less than msrp. Cons - doesn’t like MS edge as search engine since it seems to use a lot of AI. Will switch search engines, Will be using at school and home. The sales person, Chris from the Rockford IL Best Buy store was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with this purchase. Enjoys the versatile screen savers. Note that some of the MS School apps require subscription.

For the price I think they could reduce the storage and increase the ram for faster compute. I think the laptop lags heavily.

Purchased this Lenovo laptop primarily for work processes. Didn't need all the bells and whistles that the loaded laptops have, just basically internet. I like the number key pad on the right side. I like that it is thinner and weighs significantly less than my old one. Think it weighs less than the old one's charger! Nice that I had a blue color option instead of the typical grey/black colors. Nice that this is a Windows 11 so I will get the security updates. The off set touch pad, though, drives me crazy; prefer it to be centered. Wish the display was brighter. Wish it had a CD player but, apparently, laptops and PCs no longer come with those. I haven't yet associated the printer to it so can't attest to that.

It's fast and looks premium. The screen could be better. It doesn't have USB C charging but can't expect this for the price. Overall it's a solid budget friendly choice.

The battery life is decent doesn’t last super long but doesn’t die super fast either, loads things really fast haven’t had any problems with glitching or slowness yet. The volume can get really loud and doesn’t sound that bad either. Loving this computer so far

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is a great budget lap top for light office work. Additionally, it is an excellent choice to run a virtual desktop to work remotely. The laptop feels plastic, but I am willing to overlook for for the price.

The Ryzen 5 processor handles multitasking smoothly and it is fast, also, the 15.6" Full HD screen looks crisp for streaming, browsing, and schoolwork. It boots quickly thanks to the 256GB SSD, and the overall design feels lightweight without feeling cheap. For basic productivity, schoolwork, and general use, it performs better than I expected at this price point (deal of the day steal). If you need a dependable laptop for daily tasks, this is a great choice and no regrets for the 1st few weeks
