Great product , the screen display is sharp and amazing, and runs great though can run hot if you like to play on high settings, also for the price the video card should have been a 5070 the least, and lacks a Ethernet port.

Great Speed, Great Graphics

This computer is used for some of the boring stuff but it's true purpose is for graphics heavy digitizing. It has great speed and graphics are amazing. The sales staff at Best Buy were honest and helpful.

My son is an engineering student and this laptop has everything he needs to run the demanding programs he'll be using. It's on the lighter side compared to others in it's performance bracket and surprisingly quiet. So far, battery life seems to be pretty good as well. Set up took a little over two hours though. Great computer.

Purchased for my son for college. As a design student, he did his research on options for his particular major and the kinds of programs he would have to work within. At first the screen seemed so large, but when comparing to a different model, he decided it would be nicer to have the larger screen for design work. Staff on site was knowledgeable and very helpful in getting him what he needed. Geek Squad set him all up and it’s working great for him so far.

Grossly Overpriced Considering Performance

I'm not a gamer, but I needed a high performance computer because I create virtual environments that can be used in video games and for other applications. So minimizing lag is essential. In short, my ten-year-old Dell laptop outperforms this computer. The lag is so bad that doing the simplest tasks requires multiple attempts and creates agonizing delays. This is not a high-performing computer and my work has suffered as a result of owning it. If I had the time, I would have returned it. Sadly, it wasn't possible, so I will make do until I can find something that performs adequately.

We wish to provide the best experience possible, so if you'd like to work with us, we’d like to work with you to address these points in hopes to improve your experience with your Legion 7a.
You stated that that you had an issue with the system lagging behind with common tasks. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment that this may have caused you. In trying to resolve this, have you checked for system updates? Such poor performance, as you mentioned, it not indicative of gaming systems. We recommend checking for updates across the system, as buggy software or firmware can cause system inefficiencies and disfunctions.
To check for these updates, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
