Absolutely amazing pc. Im loving it. Great price as well

The Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRR9 PC 16 G / 512 G Win 11 Home / Luna Grey is a good everyday PC with some decent 1080p gaming capabilities. The PC arrived extremely well packages in form fitted thick foam padding. Easy out of box and setup in minutes. Box includes a power cable, wired keyboard and wired mouse. The keyboard actually is well made and has a decent feel to it. Not mechanical but some nice tactile resistance on the keys. The mouse is pretty basic, but will work just fine. The form-factor is in the mid-range size I would say. It has a nice aesthetic appearance with some lighting down the front and around the power button. Should fit nicely on a desk or smaller places. The system feels well built overall and is fairly light. Windows 11 was a breeze to setup and runs quite nicely on this system with the Intel Core i5 processor 14400F, 512GB SSD and 16 GB of ram. It will breeze through everyday tasks like web browsing, video conferencing, editing photos and videos and running Microsoft Office applications. The system scored very good in the PCMark benchmarks with a score of 6610. Better than 76% of all results. The system includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6 GB graphics card and in my testing performed decent for 1080p gaming and some 2k gaming depending on the game. It should be a good gaming machine for the more casual gamer that doesn't want to run AAA titles in 2k or 4k resolutions primarily. Fortnite performed well in 1080p with 80+ fps ratings with most of the bells and whistles turned on although it struggled a bit in 2K without turning down the settings a bit. Borderlands 3 ran really smooth with all the settings cranked up and even ran very smooth in 2K. The 3DMark benchmarks software I ran it through scored 5250 in the Time Spy test which is roughly 55% of what my 2080 Super tests at. I wouldn't recommend the system for someone wanting to game primarily in 2K or 4K resolutions, but that's not really expected at this price point either. 2K is doable depending on the game, but this card is definitely better geared towards 1080p gaming resolutions. This card should handle 2D games and older titles in higher resolutions and smooth frame rates quite well. A 3060 might've been a better choice for this system and price point in my opinion, but the 3050 does an decent job. The inside of the PC is compact and clean. Good wire management with some expansion capabilities for adding additional RAM or hard drives. CPU has a nice sized cooling fan and heat sink on it and the system runs fairly quiet. It has a decent amount of external ports on it for adding USB devices, speakers, headphones or a LAN cable. The system has builtin Wifi and Bluetooth capabilities and had no issues connecting to either. Overall I would recommend this PC to someone looking for a more compact everyday PC that can handle day to day activities really well and also play a good portion of games at reasonable resolutions and frame rates. It would make a good starter gaming PC for someone and does allow for later expansion / upgrades.

Lenovo's LOQ Tower is a sleek looking mid-tower desktop that will look great at any desk. Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F 1 x 16gb of DDR5-4800 RAM 2 DDR5 UDIMM Dual Channel DDR5-5600 slots NVidia RTX 3050 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4 x4 used in one of the two M.2 slots PCIe 3 x1 slot Wi-Fi 6E and BT 5.3 used in one of the M.2 slots USB keyboard and mouse 500W power supply Front ports: 1 USB-C 3.2 gen 1 with 15W charging, 2 USB-A ports 3.2 gen 1, and 3.5mm headphone jack Back ports: 4 USB-A 2.0, 1 HDMI 2.1, 1 VGA, 1 1Gb RJ-45, and 1 3.5mm headphone jack Desktop Use: The desktop runs office applications without a problem. In an office setting, this desktop won't disappoint as it has plenty of CPU and RAM to run office applications. In my use of it, office type applications were snappy when loading and ran just fine. I have no complaints in it's performance in this scenario. At some point, I may want to upgrade the RAM to 32GB. Since the LOQ came with 1 stick of RAM, I can simply add a second 16GB stick which can help when I have many office applications and browser tabs open at once. Lenovo must have considered this with this model, so it's good to see that they thought ahead on that. The LOQ has a Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 card in it which is really good to see in this system , but it is unfortunate that it is occupying one of the two M.2 slots. The other M.2 slot is in use by the 512GB M.2 SSD. That brings up the issue some may run into with the SSD being only 512GB. The SSD can have games installed on it, but it will depend on the number and size of games as to whether or not that fills up quickly. I would like to have seen a 1TB SSD or the 512GB SSD and a 2TB spindled drive. There is cabling in the case that supports adding in a SATA drive and a single 3.5" drive bay. Lenovo left a SATA data cable and power cable in the case, so it comes ready for adding in additional storage. I can will add a 2TB spindled drive or SSD in the future if I want to do that. Regarding the ports, it is good to see HDMI 2.1 supported by the RTX 3050, but the USB ports on the back of the case are USB-A 2.0 ports. Only the USB ports on the front of the case are 3.2 gen 1. It would have been good for all of the ports to support the 3.2 speeds. Gaming: With those specs, this is an entry level gaming system, but I didn't expect to be running an FPS at high frame rates with this. The RTX 3050 will run games, but the CPU being an i5 and the GPU being a generation behind, expect to run mid to low level graphics games such as strategy and a few other genres that typically don't require a higher level GPU or CPU. The RAM is also not the highest speed RAM than the motherboard supports. It came with DDR5-4800 RAM instead of DDR5-5600. Given the price point for this version of the LOQ 17IRR9, I feel you should be getting a better CPU or a better GPU. One or the other in a $1K desktop. The LOQ 17IRR9 with these specs will be good for me running office apps and can run a few of my games. I would consider it a really good office system, but regarding gaming, it is an entry level gaming system. The case looks good and it has lighting on the front. The light strip runs down the center of the front and there is lighting around the power button both of which can be disabled in Lenovo's app. If you are looking for an entry level gaming system that you won't be upgrading, then this may fill that need. If you need an office desktop, then this will fit the bill. I'm using it for office applications and have little complaints during my use, however, most of my games will need more CPU and GPU than what is in this in order to run at high frame rates, so I'll run a few of my games on it that don't need a higher end GPU and CPU.

The gaming PC market is pretty saturated, from custom builds to store-bought PCs, it can be hard to find something in the right price range for what you're looking for, and for some, you just dont want to spend or need to spend the amount that a high end gaming machine requires, but still want to have enough power to enjoy yourself without breaking the bank. The Lenovo LOQ Tower is exactly that. It's not full of bells and whistles, tons of RGB or a window to see the internals, but honestly it doesn't need it. What it does have is solid entry-to-mid range gaming specs without destroying your wallet. Packaging and accessories: It's packaged pretty plainly. Just a cardboard box and some foam. The included keyboard and mouse are fairly basic as well, but they will get the job done well enough if you dont want to shell out for something else. Again we're talking entry-level here so there's not a lot that needs to be done to do this well. Build quality: It's a compact case with a small motherboard, it comes with 16GB of DDR5-4800 RAM but there's an open slot to add more, the motherboard itself is based on the Intel B760M chipset which can support chips higher than the included i5-14400F (the F just means no integrated graphics, but in this case that's fine) but for most entry-to-mid level gaming this processor will be more than sufficient. What's great is the included discrete graphics, the RTX 3050 may be last-gen, but it's more than good enough for good performance in most games. No this wont be a system you want to run 4K on, but again we're talking entry-to-mid level gaming. It's going to net you more performance than the non-RTX form of the GTX 1660, it's a solid 1080p performer in most current-gen titles, but more on that in a sec. Performance: I spoke briefly above about the i5-14400F and it's a very solid performer, we haven't stepped down to an i3 and we aren't spending the prices of an i7 or an i9 to get some very solid gaming performance on current-gen games. The RTX 3050 even gets you ray-tracing which is becoming more prevalent in newer games, and with it's solid 1080p performance you'll be able to really enjoy it. Summary: All-in-all it's a great entry-to-mid level machine with some room to grow if you wanted to bump up the processor or graphics at some point. Provided you understand the machine you're buying, you will be very happy with it

We had an older desktop that was slowing down. I was a little skeptical of this desktop with an i5-14400F processor when my laptop has an i7. I shouldn’t have worried. Very easy to setup, connected quickly to the internet and it is surprisingly fast over our network. It showed 397 Mbps download and 9 Mbps upload over wi-fi on a mesh network after adding all of our apps and programs. Since it is such a new model, the initial updates only took about 14 minutes with one reboot. It was probably the fastest I have ever setup a computer. Windows 11 Home is installed. My only issue was the HDMI port was very tight and it took a little effort to plug in the monitor cable. 16GB of RAM is my minimum requirement and gives this desktop a nice boost. The 512GB SSD storage is enough for us although some users will need more. Graphics are dedicated with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and it can handle lighter gaming and is an entry-level setup. That said it performed well in my testing for some of my older games. We are very happy with this desktop. It is fast and a great all around computer at a mid-price range.

As a long time PC gamer who’s always hunting for the best bang for my buck, I was happy to get my hands on the Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRR9. TLDR: The LOQ 17IRR9 delivers everything you need for an incredible 1080P gaming experience. Expect mid to high graphics depending on the game. Rear IO is limited to just 4 x USB 2.0, gigabit ethernet, 1/8th inch audio out. Front IO is 1 USB-C 3.2G1, 2 x USB 3.2G1, and a headphone/mic combo. Styling is slick but not over the top. Pricepoint: At $899.99, the LOQ Tower isn’t exactly pocket change, but it delivers on the better side of entry level gaming. You’re getting a sleek gaming rig without breaking the bank. However, I’d be interested in seeing a 4000 series GPU to make it even more tempting. Design: The LOQ Tower’s aesthetics are mildly “gamer-y”. The front panel has a white illuminated bar and ring around the power button. Also note, the lights can be disabled altogether in the bios if that’s your preference. It’s a 17-liter compact desktop—smaller than most gaming PCs out there. Gaming Performance: The LOQ Tower handles 1080p gaming like a champ. Doom Eternal at 1080P on high settings maintained a solid 60+FPS without issue. At higher resolutions expect to run into VRAM issues. That wasn’t the case with Rocket League which easily handled 1440P at 60+FPS. The Intel Core i5-14400F CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU keep things smooth. Other Thoughts: The tower stays relatively quiet during gaming sessions. Very manageable for small or closed quarters spaces. The 512GB M.2 SSD is great for Windows, but for a larger gaming library you may want to swap it for 1TB or 2TB M.2. Better yet, add a secondary SATA SSD. The chassis can hold an additional drive and is already wired with a set of available SATA power and data cables. The Wi-Fi 6E connectivity is great and don’t forget Bluetooth too!

If you're looking forward to pushing every game you play to maximum settings at 4k resolutions (or even 1440p), this is not the machine for you. With a middle of the road CPU and a fairly low end GPU, it's going to get you by as an entry level machine. That doesn't make it a bad computer if that's what you're looking for. Compare prices and you might find this machine comes out on top for you. Setup is the usual Windows 11 setup. Not much to write home about. When plugging in the computer, this one didn't have any stickers or labels on the integrated VGA/HDMI port so you don't accidentally plug your monitor into one of those ports. Instead, there's port covers which I found pretty nice. I'm not sure if it's enough to detract a newbie from plugging into the wrong port, but I like the covers. After the initial setup, I found a little more bloatware than some other systems I've used. Things like McAfee are loaded onto the system and on my particular system couldn't even be removed straight from the Add/Remove Programs screen (complaining about missing files when tried). I had to actually find an uninstaller program from McAfee in order to uninstall it. There's some Lenovo software included as well which I've fine with since you can usually find updates, tweak some things and get support through them. Let's get to gaming performance. This machine is billed as a "gaming desktop" so that's going to be the most important metric in determining if it's the right fit for you. I tested a two of my staple games I like to benchmark computers on, Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk 2077. And then I threw in a quick Fortnite test since this is an entry level system. The TLDR is basically, if you're looking for some decent 1080p gaming, you're probably going to have a pretty good time. If you're looking at 1440p+, it will greatly depend on what kind of game you're playing. Doom Eternal's graphic settings have a VRAM check before allowing you to apply them. While other games you can just crank up the graphics settings to their max and suffer through the 12 frames per second (which can be good for benchmarking), I wasn't actually able to max out Doom Eternal's settings because of the VRAM checks. 6GB is about as entry level as you can get these days for video memory. I had to settle for a High setting in Texture Resolution. In a 1080p test, I was able to see a pretty stable 60fps. When moving up to 1440p, I enabled DLSS performance mode and was able to squeeze 45-50fps out. When moving to an ultra-wide resolution, I dropped down to 25fps. 1080p60 is going to be your target with this machine and it's quite achieveable in Doom Eternal. Cyberpunk 2077 was another story. I did a lot of different settings at both 3440x1440 (21:9 ultrawide) and 1080p through the built in benchmark to try and find the sweet spot. At the ultrawide resolution with DLSS set to auto, "Ray Tracing Ultra" gave me 15fps with noticable stuttering. Moving to "Ray Tracing Low" settings jumped up to 25fps. It was mostly smooth and may even be playable but not recommended. Losing the ray tracing and the built in "High" setting (but setting the scaling back to DLSS auto), I was able to see a pretty smooth 40fps. Just for fun, I tried the same thing with Ultra settings (without ray tracing) and got 28fps. The story get a bit better when switching to 1080p, though. At "Ray Tracing Ultra", I saw 22fps. "Ray Tracing Low" sees 43fps (playable). High without ray tracing jumps up to 64fps and Ultra without ray tracing got a respectable 49fps. If you can live without ray tracing (and you should be OK with that if you're aiming for this machine) then the High setting still looks amazing and plays at 1080p and over 60fps so that's pretty impressive for an entry level machine. The last test was a quick one. I didn't do a bunch of benchmarks, I just wanted to see how Fortnite performed. I just kept the game at 21:9 3440x1440 ultrawide using DLSS auto. Initial loading was pretty stuttery. The lobby and start of the bus was not super great but after the game caught up, I saw a pretty steady 60fps without an issue. I'll also say, this one test game of Fortnite was my first time playing since the game first came out and I ended up winning the match. I can't say it was the computer that got me there but I won't say it wasn't. The included keyboard and mouse are alright. They're entry level as well. I'd replace them when you can. Chicklet keyboards aren't the greatest for gaming and a pack-in mouse is never going to be better than even a lower level gaming mouse. They're serviceable though. I do like the look of the computer in general. The nice light down the middle looks pretty neat. The case is much smaller than expected as well. I like this computer for someone looking for a starter gaming machine. 1080p gaming still looks very good and without spending closer to double the price of this machine, you're probably not going to enter the mid to high level range. Since this machine has an RTX 3050 (even though it's a little held back by the 6GB of VRAM), DLSS is going to do a lot of heavy lifting and get you decent frame rates without sacrificing a ton of visual quality. You might not be able to crank every game you buy to it's maximum settings, but I'm confident you'll be able to run most games and have them look pretty decent in 1080p.

If you're looking for a lighting fast high-end gaming pc, this is not it. However, if you're looking for a mid level and capaple machine to play in 1080p, I find this to be a great value. It has all of the great modern features, including wifi/bluetooth that surprisingly works very well. My only setback with this is the lack of options for storage expansion. But for the size and price, this was to be expected . Overall great pc, especially if you find it on sale in the $550-$600 range

Well, I had my HP Envy that I bought in 2015 which was still working perfectly but can only handle Windows 10. I knew I was in the market to update my computer with Windows 11 as to not lose security updates. After doing my research as I always do, I keep saying that they were much better deals on" gaming systems" and this one caught my eye on sale for $549. Just looking at the specs, upgraded hardware and the ability to upgrade system as I may need, this was a no-brainer. I am not a gamer and will be using this as my daily driver. This is Overkill for my needs, but comparable everyday computing desktops were same price with lower specs or even more money with lower end hardware. Not to mention that Lenovo is a very reliable computer brand. Even at full price this isn't a bad deal.

I like how the pc is built gets 400 fps in fortnite on all lows performace mode and is a good starter pc other than games being expensive now and days

It came with the warranty already activated. The explanations were not convincing (the the warranty is activated when the store gets the computer and then the manufacturer resets it?). Also the details stated it had a VGA connector which cannot be used because the unit also has a dedicated graphics card. I wanted both and that is why we ordered this unit, but I ended having to buy adapters. The memory described was at 4800 but it came with 5600. It works ok so far but with so many misdesctibed things what will happen down the road?

My first gaming PC, it runs all the games I’ve played so far with different settings. It size and it looks makes it perfect to my space and the best part is I got it on sale! Highly Recommended!!!

This is a good starter computer. Be mindful of your expectations. At full load it draws only about 145-155w with the 3050 card. It is very quiet. Although was buggy when updating firmware. Be very careful. Comes with one 16gb DDR5 5600 speed so that was unexpected. Leaves one Memory slot free. Has one 6+2 Pin for up to a 4060Ti only since the Power supply is limited to 500w. If you decide to upgrade GPU. There is no available PS upgrade since this is a proprietary Power Supply. Otherwise for the price it can't be beat. (when it's on sale)

Bought 2 of these on a big sale even though though they were overkill for what was needed. Needed some office PCs but the other PCs in that category (Like from Dell) were overpriced for honestly a poor product. Looked into gaming PCs but they all seemed to look like "gaming PC's and weren't suitable for an office. Not these though. Build quality seems good and I appreciate that it doesn't look too much like a "gaming" PC, is just a solid PC in a somewhat normal case.

By the specs this was a wonderful computer. Had issues with its USB crashing the computer. Trouble shooting was impossible due to the USB crashes being so intermittent. Think it was fixed, 2 days later crashing again. The power button got it back. But all game progress/work was lost. It put out a lot of heat. Saw frame freezing during game play. Wish the one I got wasn't defective. If you can get one of these test the heck out of it while it is returnable. I actually cried when I boxed it up to ship it back.

This desktop is just what I needed. It is plenty fast for what I use a desktop for. I mainly watch videos and surf the web. It will be easy to work on if a power supply or video card goes out. Also, it can be used for light gaming.

Great PC for the price. It runs great and the whole family loves it. The only downside is the limited internal SSD space but that is easily upgradable.

Great entry level gaming pc for non triple a titles, games like rainbow six, csgo and valorant will run great on this machine.

Solid entry-level, Lenovo puts some crappy parts like RAM and SSD...but going for the base model and upgrading the parts is a great deal. Looks slick and is the perfect size!
