Q: Will this filter out mold and mildew
A: That was my main concern and really why i purchased this. Yes it does.
Q: Are the filters washable for reuse?
A: The pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to increase efficiency and extend the life of your filter. You can use a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and large particles. You can also use water to remove dirt and dust from the pre-filter only. However, the entire filter needs to be changed every 12-15 months.
Q: What is the sound level dB on this unit? Which filter does it require and what is the cost?
A: The EverestAir has a noise range of 24–52dB and requires a model EverestAir-RF replacement filter.
A: Our air purifiers effectively trap all airborne pollutants (dust, pollen, smoke, mold, etc.).
Q: Can the wifi be disabled if you want?
A: While you cannot disable the WiFi option, pairing mode will stop if the unit is not connected to the app.
A: Oh yes!
Q: Does this unit control heavy cat litter Oder and how much to replace filters
A: Not sure but it got rid of the urine smell that my dog made from my carpets.
A: Aside from the PlasmaPro models (which have an optional plasma function), all Levoit air purifiers are ozone-free and do not produce ions. Please note that the PlasmaPro models also have ozone-free versions on our website (Core 200S, 300S, 400S, & 600S). They work purely mechanically by drawing in air and filtering it through our 3-stage filtration system.
