  • Key Specs
    • Recommended Room Size: 440 square feet (The recommended area size in which the product is designed to operate and produce optimal results, such as the desired heating or cooling. Generally, running a unit too big or too small for the space will result in ineffective operation and wasted energy.)
    • BTU Cooling Rating: 9800 british thermal units (The amount of BTUs (British Thermal Units) per hour the unit uses to cool the air, also known as cooling capacity. For best results, the capacity of the unit should be based on the size of the area it is intended to cool. For example, a 5,000 BTU capacity works optimally for a 150 square foot room. In general, an oversized unit will not effectively remove humidity, and an undersized unit will not cool the space efficiently.)

This mode helps save energy while keeping the room comfortable.)
    • Timer: true
    • Auto Shut-Off: true (Feature automatically turns off the product.)
    • Energy Efficiency Ratio: 9.8 (The ratio of output BTUs (British Thermal Units) to input electrical energy (watts) at a given operating point. Generally, the higher the number, the more efficient the unit. Though higher efficiency units are typically more expensive upfront, they may offset the price in energy costs over time.)
    • Combined Energy Efficiency Ratio (CEER): 10.7 (The standard used to measure energy efficiency in window and room air conditioners by the Department of Energy (DOE) as of June of 2014. CEER measures the ratio of output BTUs (British Thermal Units) to input electrical energy (watts) in standby mode and while the unit is operating. Generally, the higher the number, the more efficient the unit. Though higher efficiency units are typically more expensive upfront, they may offset the price in energy costs over time.)

Q: I Like this air condition but I do not need heat, it will come without it, I need the measures to see if it can fit in the sleeve. What about installation and remove the old one, Please let me know thank you

A: Regrettably, the LG - 10,000 BTU Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner and 11,200 BTU Heater - White, Model # LT1037HNR is not available without the heating. Its W x H x D dimensions are: 24" x 14 13/32" x 20 3/32". Q: Does this unit require a 220v outlet and, second, does it require a pipe to handle condensation?

A: It does require a 220 outlet. Mine didn't require a pile because I used the existing setup from my previous unit.

Q: What power receptacle does this require -- Standard 110 or 220?

A: The LG 10,000 BTU 230v Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner with Heat, Model # LT1037HNR has to be plugged into its own dedicated standard 250 V, 3-wire grounding receptacle rated at 20 Amps, 250 VAC protected by a 20 Amp time delay fuse or a 20 Amp circuit breaker. In North America, the terms 220V, 230V, and 240V all refer to the same system voltage level. The reason for the receptacle being rated at 250 V is because for or a time in the early days of electrification, most residential distribution voltage standards were 110/220V. In the late 20s, design standards for equipment mfrs, like NEMA, came into being. Then in the 30s with the REA (a Depression era government program to provide electricity to farms and rural areas) it was bumped to 120/240V and made a national standard. So NEMA, having to now adjust their design standards to match, anticipated the distribution voltage standard possibly increasing again and they settled on 125/250V as a design standard so that they would not have to change again for a long time...^Ivan

Q: Does this unit come with a slide our chassis or sleeve?

A: The specifications states "Yes" that a sleeve is included. However, that was not the case with me. The box doesn't look to be designed to contain the sleeve. So I don't think it was a packing oversight at the manufacturer. You're going to have to buy one.

Q: What is the NEMA configuration of the plug?
