A Total Game-Changer for My Home Theater! I've had the LG 3.1.3 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer for a few weeks now, and it has completely revolutionized my home entertainment. The five-star reviews online don't lie—this system is an absolute powerhouse that delivers an immersive audio experience far beyond what I was expecting from a soundbar. Setup was a breeze. I connected the soundbar to my LG TV using the HDMI eARC port, and the wireless subwoofer paired instantly without any hassle. The "WOW Orchestra" feature, which syncs the soundbar with the TV's internal speakers, is incredible, creating a much larger and more detailed soundstage. It really feels like the audio is coming from every direction. The sound quality is nothing short of phenomenal. The Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support truly bring movies to life, making me feel like I’m in a cinema. The up-firing center channel is a standout feature, providing crystal-clear dialogue that is never lost in the mix, even during the most intense action scenes. The bass from the wireless subwoofer is deep and punchy, adding a visceral feel to explosions and soundtracks without being overbearing. What I appreciate most is the versatility. For regular TV viewing, the "AI Sound Pro" mode automatically optimizes the audio for whatever I'm watching, ensuring everything from news broadcasts to sporting events sounds fantastic. Excellent sound system. The bass from the subwoofer isnt heavy or punchy but it is a very round and full sound. I love the speakers on top of the soundbar. It really helps with the dynamic and disperal of sound. If placed apropriately, the additional speakers makes it sound like whatever is going on is happening right there in your living room. I hear way more ambient sounds than I did with my last sound system (LG 2.1 with only the soundbar and subwoofer) I was looking for something like this and I didnt even know it until I heard it. I got this on sale too (really great price) so I'm very satisfied with it.

Compared to last couple of generations of soundbars they've done, LG this year has decided to step their game up with their soundbars and actually deliver something totally worthwhile. I come from my last soundbar the Vizio M51ax-J6 and the moment I first played around with the LG S80QY, this soundbar destroys the Vizio in literally every way! The sound quality was just impressive overall and honestly only keeps getting better everytime I turned this bar on, the subwoofer puts out deep, rich bass, the soundstage is powerful, and the Atmos/DTS:X performance is surprisingly decent for what it is. Pairing the S80QY with the optional SPQ8-S speaker kit just elevates the overall experience to another level, delivering strong surround sound performance and pairs instantly with the bar, as of this writing, I haven’t experienced any cutouts whatsoever. Also, the LG S80QY pairs very well with my LG C1 TV too, they function together a lot better than the Vizio M51ax-J6 ever did, everything just works for the most part, such a great relief. Lastly, my experience with the S80QY had a rocky start, but since then it’s all been very good. The first unit I had was kinda faulty as for some reason I was given a demo model and not the full product as the soundbar would keep going into demo mode no matter what, so the next day I went up there to Best Buy in person, exchanged for another unit, and since then no more problems, I got the fully operational unit now. In conclusion, the LG S80QY is surprisingly a great soundbar overall, better than the SP8YA from last year and the SN8YG from the year before last, it’s safe to say LG has definitely improved themselves this year, I bet the higher models S90QY and S95QR are even better than this. S80QY comes highly recommended, I don’t regret my purchase one bit.

Love the soundbar, first Dolby Atmos for me. Has only been a couple weeks but so far everything sounds fantastic! You will def feel explosions in movies, the 8" sub sounds great! When music mode is turned on and you are streaming music from Tidal...wow sound is phenomenal! I can say the soundbar is loud! Haven't even come close to 100% volume my neighbors would definitely complain. For real it's LOUD! I got the soundbar on sale for $460. Replaced my Onkyo receiver and 3.1 Klipsch bookshelf/center channel speakers I was using (love Klipsch). The receiver was causing freezing issues with my newer TCL tv so I replaced with this soundbar and issues with tv are gone. Great decision. Way less cables then receiver/speakers and the soundar sounds just as good, if not better.

Top notch sound at a nice price. Hear subtle sounds i never heard before. Subwoofer provides a nice thump and Dolby atmos is a plus. Paired with an lg qned80. I am satisfied to the upmost.

I returned a Denon S517 soundbar for this one and don't regret it. For the same price, this truly performs a higher level. Excellent build quality. The subwoofer produces solid, punchy bass that can be turned up or down via remote settings quickly. Volume can be increased to the max without distortion. The display in the front of the soundbar can be dimmed or turned off. The casting via wifi works perfectly. I've read some reviews claiming that it sucks up bandwidth out of a network but I haven't had such issues. Although it's marketed as a Dolby ATMOS capable soundbar with upward firing speakers, I believe this is a gimmick with ALL soundbars.

Love the sound. Base is awesome. Think Top Gun and Lynard Skinner! Easily to use. Can shake the walls if you let it!

Legitimately good sound that makes the most of the dedicated subwoofer. Use it in an apartment and never need to go past 25% of the volume for the room to shake. Also great clarity for voices and music.

It is relatively easy to set up and connect. It took awhile to tell which was was up and out. The print on it is all over the place in different directions. If I mounted it correctly the LED Screen faces the florr. So I cant tell if it's in unless I bend down and look under it, without the app. It would be nice if it had better pictures. So I could see how the finished mountings would look and where out sub or which way to face it. It sounds good all over the house. I connect to it in the morning from my bed room to get me going. One last thing. Why can LG have one master all to control all it tv, sound bar and sound systems? Or make it fully integrated with google home. I hate having an different apps for the same maker and that work together. I was going to go with Bose or Sonos but didn't want to have multiple apps but I guess that's didn't matter.

This is my first soundbar and second subwoofer. From watching an action movie to listening to music this soundbar and subwoofer are excellent. The setup was fast and easy to do.

The LG Sound Bar is super! The mix of the bar, along with the floor bass woofer, makes watching anything a pure joy. On action films, or music, which we love, the sound is impressive!

This has to be one of the best quality sounding speakers of its price range. Nevertheless, I have been using this every time I get a chance ! Feels like I’m at the movies when I’m home with the family watching Star Wars or John Wick. Also, great when I’m playing God Of War with my little one. I definitely recommend this product. Trust me this will make a great home theater system for you and your family specially as an entry for first timers looking to get a great experience and take advantage of the features that it comes with.

Sleek sound. Wireless woofer. beautiful. Some reviews we read noted the front display being too bright// it's not. Some reviews we read noted sub-par sound quality. It sound great. Separate level controls for woofer, center, etc// perfect. Actually looks better *not wall-mounted, imo. Pairs nicely with the LG G1 OLED. Love also being able to utilize the system as a stand alone BT speaker. ir's great. and even sweeter, on $ALE! BUY iT.
