Great TV and perfect for your desk as a PC monitor if you grab the 48 inch one. 4K resolution, 165hz in gaming mode, and 10bit color. The blacks are pitch-dark, the colors pop like crazy, and running high frame rates on a screen this crisp makes standard monitors feel obsolete. It's easily one of the best TV's on the market if you want reference-grade picture quality. Don't forget to grab an HDMI 2.1 48gbps cable with your setup.

This one will be long but I think it's necessary for context why I decided to return this and I am overall unhappy with LG oleds lately. The TLDR is: this has uniformity issues, worse VRR flicker than non-tandem w-oleds, crawling dither that looks like film grain, and the 165hz mode has black crush and increased vertical banding. I wanted to like this, but it's just disappointing more than anything. I am no stranger to LG oleds. I had an LG CX 48in for 4 years and now use a G4 55in as a PC monitor, but I have also tried a C5 42in and their 32GS95UE monitor as well. The CX was as close to perfect as it gets, but every other LG I have used or tried since then has had some kind of compromises or issues that show up in day-to-day use that I can't get over. The G4 55in has cyan tint on the left and right sides of the TV that can't be calibrated out, and the tint follows your head around the screen. This is at a distance of 5-6ft, and since I prefer warm color temperatures, it exacerbates the issue. I figured I just got unlucky with the panel lottery, and since I got it from LG's partner store I was stuck with it and they wouldn't replace the panel. After about a year of suing the G4, I wanted to downsize from 55in so I tried out a C5 42in. Sure enough, the blue/green tint was there on all edges of the screen. White was never uniformly white, and that tint showed up in games and movies whenever there were light colors on the screen. So, I stuck with the G4. Once I heard the C6 48in was a tandem w-oled panel this year, and would be substantially brighter and more colorful than the 42in, I decided to give it a try. Again though, there is cyan tint on the left and right sides of the screen that impacts games and movies alike when lighter colors are on the screen (think clouds in the sky going from blue/green to white to blue/green). Using the standard or vivid presets (or changing to a cool color temp) can help mask it, because those are more blue, but it never really disappears. The further you get from the screen the more it blends in and becomes harder to spot but I can see the tint even at 10ft away. I tried to capture this with a picture, but it's hard to do with my camera and so much worse in person. What's worse this year though is the vertical banding and the VRR flicker on this tandem panel. On the CX, G4, and C5 I never noticed VRR flicker outside of game menus. With this C6 48in though, it's so much worse than before and I can easily spot it in games even when I have relatively stable FPS with a 9800x3d and 5090. This is closer to my experience with qd-oleds and the main reason I avoided them in favor of w-oleds for the better VRR handling. After about 100 hours of use and multiple automatic compensation cycles, the vertical banding didn't improve much but it's possible it could even out a bit more after the longer pixel refresh runs after 2000 hours or so. I'm not willing to gamble and wait that long. I play a lot of horror and sci-fi games and it's a bit distracting. If you mostly play bright colorful games you might not have an issue. The diagonal dithering from the 4 and 5 series has been changed to something akin to film grain. If you are just watching tv shows and movies from a distance this is basically impossible to spot, but if you use it as a PC monitor or sit from around 3-5ft away you might spot it. The closer you get to the screen, certain colors seem to crawl, especially noticeable on Windows dark mode and things like discord, it looks just like film grain. Still, neither dithering method bothered me in practice because I sit far enough away. Just thought I would mention it for those who don't like the diagonal lines and like to sit really close to the screen. Dithering isn't gone, it's just different. Finally, the 165hz mode on PC has issues. There is significant black crush, near black color handling seems worse, and it introduces even worse vertical banding than when the TV is at 120hz. The 144hz mode on my G4 and on the C5 also had these same issues to a degree, but it is worse on this TV, maybe because of the tandem panel. So, I returned it for all of those reasons. Which is annoying because the CX was goated, but since then it seems to have gone downhill with LG oleds in my experience. I prefer glossy, but with uniformity seemingly getting worse each year for LG and VRR flicker being more pronounced, I may as well go with a qd-oled like the S95H instead to avoid most of the problems I brought up in this review. Hopefully that helped someone else, but maybe your luck will be better than mine if you want to give it a shot.

Love the software. The tv is very bright and easy to use with a variety of settings. Great picture depth.

This is by far the best tv ive ever used, and it isnt even close. Every movie I watch feels like im in a small theater. The brightness and colors are outstanding, HDR content is on a whole other level. The 165hz and game settings make it a fantastic gaming display. No noticable gray banding, diagonal dithering, or other issues that have traditionally plagued other similar displays. If you decide to pick up the C6, you will absolutely not be disappointed.

I've owned a lot of TVs over the years, and this LG C6 EVO AI is easily the best one I've brought home. The OLED picture quality is incredible—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and HDR content looks absolutely stunning. Movies feel cinematic, and sports and gaming are buttery smooth thanks to the high refresh rate and gaming features. Setup was quick, webOS is fast and easy to navigate, and the AI picture and sound adjustments actually do a nice job without feeling gimmicky. The 48-inch size is perfect for my room and also works great as a gaming display. If you're on the fence about spending the extra money on an OLED, I'd say go for it. Every time I turn it on I'm impressed all over again. I have zero regrets with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium TV.

Huge upgrade in every way from Samsung QLED. Compared in store, it was also the nicest picture of everything displayed. Colors are great, set up is easy enough. Only thing I don't like is the magic remote mouse thing but it's bearable. If in doubt, just try it out. Completely worth it.

The LG C6 OLED is undoubtedly a fantastic TV. It performs brilliantly, and its gameplay-enhancing features are truly remarkable. It’s a very small improvement over last year’s LG C5 OLED

This is my 3rd LG TV and the picture quality continues to amaze me. Easy to setup and use.

Easily set up, connected to wifi, and the house antenna. Once logged into my streaming accounts it all just worked as expected. The brightness and color are perfect in the room, even with lots of day light.

This TV has a one of the deepest blacks, and non-glare screens I have seen in a long time. The sound connected flawlessly via e-arc to the sonos ARC sound bar and ERA 300 and sub woofer. Room commanding.

We love the bright, bold, detailed & colorful picture on our LG TV. It's fantastic for watching programs, sports and movies.

I am not a fan of having to hunt and "surf" around through the menu/settings. The contoller has very limited buttons. I do like the single centered stand instead of the 2 seperate feet.

this is a great oled for gaming and tv watching also has 165hz for gaming witch is great also a great picture like the more expensive top of the line model oled its a great oled for the price

LG C series has never let me down. I have had the C2 up to now the C6 and the quality just keeps getting better. This is a perfect addition to my gaming room.
