This review is for the phone WITH the dual screen
I truly love this phone!! It is huge (which I like); It is full of features. The colors are vibrant. The camera is amazing! The dual screen is everything that I never knew I needed. I love it!! The phone is a little on the heavy side and I am ok with that. I’ve always liked phones that feel substantial and this one certainly does (only when the dual screen is attached). Best of all, the price of this phone cant be beat for all the features that come with it. Did I say how much I love this phone? Now the sad part…. I returned it. I really didn’t want to, but in the end, it was the saddest, but best decision for me. The phone has very few flaws, but the ones that exist were enough to make me part ways with it. The major concern for me is that I had a hard time hearing anyone that I was speaking to. It didn’t matter if I was on speaker or direct speaking through the phone, it was hard!! I use my phone for business and not being able to hear the other party was the first deal breaker. Another flaw is the dual screen – sort of. I travel a lot and very often need to use mapping services and to do this, I need to plug the phone into my car. I am unable to do this unless I remove the dual screen. The USB on the dual screen case is smaller than most and I was unable to find an adapter for it so that I could plug into my car. Therefore, I had to remove the dual screen every time I needed to plug into my car. I feared that removing the dual screen constantly would eventually cause the USB connecter to break. Considering that I would have this phone for a minimum of two years, I feel confident that the dual screen connector would certainly break. I don’t see how it could withstand that much ‘pull’ and not get damaged. Also, the dual screen is beautiful and looks almost like a mirror. When I unboxed the phone I found that it came with a cleaning cloth. I thought that was nice, but odd. Then I used the phone for a few hours and realized that the cleaning cloth was totally necessary and I did get A LOT of use from it. The dual screen is also susceptible to scratches, which would take away from its beauty. Again, its somewhat like a mirror and there is no way to protect it with a screensaver so I had to be very careful with it. Speaking of screensavers….only the main screen can be protected. Putting a screen saver on the dual screen would prevent the phone from closing fully. This made me nervous. I need both screens protected. Lastly, removing the dual screen is not an easy feat. It fits like a glove and removing it is very difficult. I cant imagine having to exert that much time and energy several times a day just to remove the dual screen from the primary screen. For me, that was the deciding factor that made me do what I never thought I’d do…. I RETURNED THE PHONE!! That was really a hard decision to make because there is so much to love about the V60 ThinQ w/dual screen. LG really knocked it (almost) out of the park with this model. If it were not for the very few concerns that I mentioned in this review, I would never have returned the phone. I’ve been a very faithful Samsung Galaxy Note user since forever and I was very willing to leave the Note behind for the LG V60 ThinQ. Since returning this phone, I am back to the Note and for some reason, my love for the Note has diminished a little bit. I miss the V60 ThinQ! I really do. I will continue to follow LG to see if they make a few changes to the next ThinQ. If the problems that I experienced are ever resolved, I will leave Samsung again and head back to LG. LG has a prime opportunity to give Samsung a run for its money. The V60 ThinQ with dual screen is really something special and I am looking forward to Round 2!

Cannot Beat the Price
Theres always some negatives to a phone. If you find one that is absolutely perfect, chances are you're spending well over $1100 for it (which is getting outrageous if you ask me). But this phone sits at a very appetizing $699. Cameras are great front and back. The phones aspect ratio is 20.5:9 which, when you're holding it, it feels very large and longer than most phones. It only has a FHD display but that keeps the price down. A hefty 5000 mAh battery which lasts a few days with my wife and I. All the negative reviews on these phones seem to be on the points where they are comparing to phone such as the Galaxy S20, like the display and inovative designs and the big bezels this phone has. You keep stuff like that simple and you can get a nice phone (that can shoot in 8k!!!) for a very pretty $699.
