Great for Seniors. Real smartphone that can also switch to simplified use with advertised home screen simple buttons. 87 yr old dad loves it. Worth also adding the Help EMS service to it. They answere immediately and will call family/EMS/neighbor as requested. Thanks BB.

I would recommend this phone to someone . If anyone out there looking for a great phone for the loved one this is it.

Not quite two years, and the phone totally bricked. Called support and they said “oh well guess you have to buy another one.” Until it stopped working, it was a great phone for my 91 year old dad who refers to it as his “computer”. Just very disappointed it didn’t even last two years.

2 weeks in and so far so good. Phone was on sale (somewhat…$75) and my dad doesn’t use phone much as this is for emergencies. Good interface, runs google play stores and android OS (I believe). Big buttons and screen. Took bit longer to activate and monthly without the help (emergency) services is just $37/mo. This uses Verizon towers from what I read and so far service has been good. Nice large screen and fonts. Light and slim. Cost for phone was the best part, still think monthly is pricey but it’s unlimited calls, text and 500 Md data plan. Great battery life, he doesn’t make many calls or use much (1 hr/day) and recharges battery every 3-4 days.

Best buy for Seniors who are confused by the many apps on a smartphone. Large font and clear choices. Easy to set up and not as expensive as regular smartphones.

Fairly easy to set up and use… only real complaint is the amount of Spam and wrong number phone calls to the new number looking for someone else. Battery life is great and phone support is great. Buying the phone at Best Buy made the process easier.

We got this phone for my mother in law who has never owned a cell phone. This phone is great for seniors. It is easy to operate, does not require much in the way of tech skills, yet has a great camera and screen. She's very happy with it.

It was pretty easy to set up and the bigger buttons make it easier for my mom to use. It is an "iphone" lite system. It has also has a talking feature but that became confusing to use and turn off.

Got this phone at a great price from BB for my very senior m in law. They even took an old IPhone in trade. Setup with lively took about 45 minutes on the phone because I transferred a landline number to the jitterbug. It took 3 days for that number to transfer. Everything went fine. Phone works great. The hardest part of this purchase was convincing m in law that long distance is a thing of the past and she just needs to get accustomed to the new way the phone functions. BTW the lively package I chose saved her over $300 a year. We’re teaching an old dog new tricks and there is short bursts of frustration but she’ll do fine in time.

AS A SENIOR CITIZEN- MY HUSBAND HESITATED TO BUY A SMART PHONE. WELL I TOOK THE STEP TO PURCHASE THIS SMART PHONE FOR HIM (DUE TO BUYING A NEW CAR WITH PHONE HOOK UP) AND SO PLEASED. HE HAS NO PROBLEMS AND JUST REALLY APPRECIATES USING IT. THE CASE I PURCHASED WITH IT PROTECTS THE PHONE AND ENABLES HIM TO PUT A RETURN ADDRESS ON THE BACK IF LOST. SO HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE PRICE OF BOTH----FROM A HAPPY SMART PHONE USER...

I love my new jitterbug3, I have no complaints. It's the right phone for me at this point in time in my life. I will benefit from it's features. For example: my phone number is always upfront and present on my screen, no need to go to access settings for this information. I have no complaints, I am satisfied with my decision to go Lively.

The phone itself seems to be really easy to use . My only problem is that when I was using an app that I had added, the Google help thing kept popping up and I couldn't get rid of it. In the first place I didn't need help, I couldn't see the screen with all the "help" and I don't like Google anyway. I need to call the Jitterbug people for a solution. The phone was on sale and was a really good bargain. I have finally found a phone that I can understand and actually use!

Great basic phone that even my 94 year old Mother can use to get email, text and phone calls. It holds a charge well is easy to use and pull up apps on. I appreciate the simple operation and the things that can be done on it. The only draw back is if you have a lot of contacts and apps then this is not for you. By a lot I mean hundreds, 50 is ok.

FANTASTIC, it is faster, easier to use and has GREAT new features. We had the other version and there is absolutely no comparison. This new version is everything the older one wasn't. I would recommend this phone and the LIVELY service to anyone and especially to seniors like myself.

I am so glad to have this cellphone case finally. I had some issues with finding it available and with ordering it. I'm glad it was in stock locally and I succeeded and getting it. :) My son helped me to figure it that it has everything my former cellphone, which he had gotten for me. That is, you can attach it to your belt loops, and you can also pull down a a piece in the back and make it so your phone stands up hands-free, and of course you can slide the cover on to cover the visible part or you can reverse it ao you can see the screen with the cover on.

I got this for my mother who is 78 and had a stroke, so she has some brain damage that affects her speech and motor functions. Overall this phone is much easier for her to use than a normal smart phone, mainly due to the reduced clutter on the screen. The phone itself is a significant upgrade from the previous model! With a significantly better camera, screen and internal storage, it actually feels like a competitor to some mid-tier smart phones. I will also say that the customer support is top notch! Every agent we have dealt with speaks good English without a heavy foreign accent. This is particularly important for someone who is in a health situation like my mother, who needs people to speak very slowly and very clearly for her to understand what they’re saying.

Bought this phone for my 80 year old Mom. She absolutely adores it. It's so simple for her to use and the battery life is amazing for as little as she really uses it. The ONLY reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was the salesperson NEGLECTED to inform Mom of the extra taxes she would be paying per month on top of her $22.45/month. Kinda of shady I thought...she thought she was getting a great deal and it ended up being a mediocre deal when all the fees etc. were added.

Got this for my mother in law and she loves it. The phone, once through a little bit of a nightmare set up process, is perfect for her. It is thoughtfully developed with an interface that makes sense and is very easy not only to use but to see, which is so important. The user manual was also a hit. It is also easy to read, not the super tiny print of most manuals, and it is actually helpful. The only downside was the process of signing up. You can't transfer an existing number without calling into customer service and that was not a fun experience at all. I was on hold for 2 hours the first time, and then was charged extra for calling even though I had no choice. After that, I had to call back 3 more times (fortunately it was then possible to get a call back rather than stay on hold for hours) in order to finally get the phone number transferred. So a mixed bag, great phone, maybe good service? I hope so. Overall it is the best of what is currently available for seniors in my opinion.

I bought the Jitterbug Smart3 for my mother, and she loves it! She's 74 and needs a phone that's simple, affordable, easy to navigate, lightweight, and has a larger screen without being overly bulky. The Jitterbug Smart3 fit this description perfectly! The customer service at Lively has also been outstanding. They have been patient and friendly, and they've made it so easy for us to get started.
